I am a Japanese student and love using kurutoga because we write kanji daily. In general, kanjis have many strokes. We sometimes have trouble writing by minor characters in lines such as notebooks and answer sheets. Using this pencil, you can write beautiful letters on paper that are easily distinguished.

I carry a few pencils, pens, and highlighters in a separate "to borrow" pouch.
If anyone asks to borrow anything from me, it comes from THAT pouch.
Nobody is touching my actual stationary.
They could keep those for all I care, people forget to return them anyways.
I freaked when someone grabbed my 0.2 Orenz and wanted to write with it like normal.
Or when people try to use the obviously unused eraser on a pencil 😅
It is unused for a reason, don't ruin my pencil's aesthetic.

I use a sarasa vintage grand almost every day to take notes in class. I love how heavy it feels in my hand, the smoothness of the ink, and the classy gold accents on the body. I've also found that it stands up to highlighters very well after a minute or two of drying

    • @LSC69
      @LSC69 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Interesting. Do you think it provides a better grip than the sarasa clip? I use the 1.0 mm sarasa clip right now that one can buy from Amazon but I might consider switching since it doesn't make sense to discard the plastic shell every time one runs out of ink.

My favorite pen is the Zebra Sarasa Mark On. I love how it dries so quickly and it’s the best pen to use with highlighters I’ve come across so far. You still get some smudging but it’s not too bad. It’s also great that you can get refills although lately JetPens has only had the black ink in stock.
After watching a different video of theirs about highlighters, I was introduced to the Pilot FriXion which is an ERASABLE highlight! I never knew such a thing existed! It’s especially helpful for my work as an inspector in manufacturing when I’m marking up blueprints.

I don't use pencils much but recently got my first Tombow Mono pencil (in HB) and I was shocked how different it was from other (basic) pencils I had! My must have gel pen is the Pentel Energel as it is really smooth, glides over the paper smoothly (in my opinion smoother than Sarasa) and dries really quickly and does not smudge. So as a Lefty and someone who puts a lot of pressure onto the paper, the Pentel Energel is my must have pen. In my own opinion the Pentel Energel is really underated and the Zebra Sarasa is slightly overated. the stationeries that i have from this video is:
    1. uni jetstream ballpoint pen (standard version)
    - it's one of the best ballpoint pen i've ever tried. this brand made me fall in love with ballpoint pens specifically this one when i had always been the gel pen fan. i was trying to find some good ballpoint pens because i can't answer my exams in gel pens, i'm glad i found uni jetstream. when i have enough money, i'm gonna try and buy the "uni jetstream alpha gel".
    - best alternative for cheaper price (in my country's currency) but still good ballpoint pens are "pilot acroballs" and "zebra blen". "pilot rexgrip" is good too but keep in mind that this product has lighter ink colour than the ones i mentioned.
    2. zebra sarasa gel pen
    - it's good, the ink never skipped throughout the whole time i was obsessed with this pen. it has variety range of colours. the "zebra mark on" is pretty hard to find in my country so i suggest using the "pentel energel" as a substitute, it's equally great and easy to find worldwide.
    3. uni kuru toga mechanical pencil (alpha gel and the standard version)
    - it's a good pencil but i didn't enjoy using the standard version one because i don't know if anyone experiences this, but i find the tip to be wobbly when in use. i'm scared to buy the advanced one because it's expensive and i don't want to experience the same issue. i love the machanism though.
    - however, all of the statement i have wrote here changed when i got myself the "uni alpha gel kuru toga pencil", the grip is squishy and helps my hand from getting cramped from all the intense moment of writing. the tip seemingly to not wobble that much, maybe because of how it's built? the alpha gel has more of the chunky build, i guess that kinda explains it.
    4. zebra delguard mechanical pencil (standard ones)
    - i have 3 of the standard versions and 1 light version to show that i used to enjoy these pencils that i bought them more than once. however, as time passes by, the spring mechanism doesn't always work and now, when i use it, the lead breaks most of the time. i have to admit, i hold my pen and pencil like i hold grudges towards them and this pencil helped overcoming the problem for awhile but don't expect the mechanism to always work.
    - i can use this pencil but not too long because it's not very comfortable to hold as there are no grips, there is a grip one like the one being mentioned on the video but it's way pricier and i don't want to purchase something that i know, the mechanism won't always function.
    5. zebra mildliner highlighter
    - i've seen many who has said that the highlighters are overrated but personally, i like them. they aren't exactly bad, they might bleed to some papers but i feel like majority of the highlighters are like that. however, i heard that the "uni propus" highlighter does not bleed the page but i have yet to buy it as they are pricier than the mildliners.
    - one thing that you might like to hear is that the fine tip at the other end of the highlighter can get blunter the more you use it, i don't find this as an issue but i thought of wanting to include this in case some might find this a problem. so yeah, the fine tip won't stay in the same shape.

I have to admit that as much as I love the Zebra Sarasa gel pens, with a ton of colors and available in ultra fine points, the color saturation just isn't there. The clickart are great, but the gel pens just have a disappointing, thin ink with less pigment than in the Uni and Pentel lines. I want to love them and keep buying new ones when they come out and realize it's a waste of my money every time

Same!! I bought the Zebra Sarasa R line and I’m disappointed how the pen dried out so quickly and a cheaper pen like Pentel and Faber Castell didn’t

I've been having trouble with my Sarasa pens. They stop working while there is still lots of gel and ink. I contacted Zebra and they replaced them with some refills. I used one and half way through its use, it has been skipping! Just today I used another of the refills because I can't stand the skipping. Not sure what's going on.

Goodness, all these people losing their stationary! How awful. 😢 I guess I am lucky that I have it all at home and only have to worry about my husband borrowing - if he doesn’t return it I can just take it from his desk. As to my favourites: Signio metallic gel pens for adding zing, Pilot frixion for puzzles and everyday and my new favourite Tombow Fudenosake. As for mechanical pencils: Pentel P205 is great and all myPilot Colour Enos are too.❤
