    Fender is renown for having unlevel frets. You never see reviewers putting a fret rocker on the frets in these videos. If they did it might help to get fender to take better care of their details when finishing out their guitars

    Nocaster wiring is Bridge (with the ability to blend in the neck with the 'tone' knob - so you can get that 'middle position'), Neck only (no tone), and Neck only with preset muffled circuit. The wiring you describe was not introduced until late 1952 and lasted until 1967, when 'modern' wiring was introduced.

    I have the Tele Vintera I model. As far as I know the Vintera one and Vintera two are pretty darn similar. Turns out I really like the fatter neck. The playability on it is quite good, in my opinion, especially with Ernie Ball 9s. I don’t find it getting out of tune quite as easily as you experience here. I’ve been quite happy with the sound playing through a vox AC 10 with a few pedals to tweak sound. I did find a distortion pedal that I really like. I don’t play very distorted sounds, so this guitar suits quite well. Thanks for the review.

    I have an LP Jr that measures the same .94 at the 1st but 1.01 at the 12th. Love the big necks.

    The value proposition is that it's really close to the American Vintage II 51 Telecaster at about half the price. Notable is the poly finish and alder body wood that's different from the AV II. Neck carves are the same with the Nocaster having slightly less rolled fingerboard edges. Other than that the Nocaster plays and sounds the same with the same attention to detail and quality. I found the fret work to be excellent on both examples I've seen so far. So if you need a great Tele for your gigs, this Nocaster could be exactly what you need.

    If you can get a Baja telecaster...You will get all this and more for alot less money... They Baja has an Ash body which is more vintage correct than the Alder one on this guitar... I bought the Baja in 2007 and still have it... The broadcaster bridge pickup teamed with the twisted tele neck pickup really give the 50s vintage vibe....That makes me wonder why the Vintera 11 is a considerably higher price when it sports an alder body

    Excellent point about that guitar fitting your playing style. Totally agree. Great looking guitar and at it's best through a clean channel as it would likely be in the 50s. We'll thought out, intelligent review 👍

    The body material isn’t right. It’s not ash… if you’re substituting pine would have been more accurate than alder on an early blackguard.

    I may have to buy one of these, due to the neck! I have a ~6 year old Squire Classic Vibe 50's one. The neck is bigger than a standard C, but not that B-Ball bat thick. I would want a lighter one, Sweetwater lists weights. Everything else can be changed to suite preferences. A little heads up if you are looking at new Squire 50's, it appears Squire has gone with a late model C profile on everything now! I was looking at 62-63 Strat Squires, they have modern C necks, then I double checked the 50's Tele and it also has the modern C neck shape. So for Squires now, one shape fits all. Anybody sees anything different I'd love to know that! Thanks much... 8) --gary

      I also have a Modern C on my Squier classic vibe tele. I don’t like it, it’s too skinny and I play thumb over the top… which is extremely hard on a skinny neck. I’m thinking the Fat U or a hard V would be much better.

    • @MrNotForEveryone
      @MrNotForEveryone 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The difference is vintera Ii has vintage tall frets vs vintage in the vintera 1 and new pickups. If you don't like the 7,25 inch radius skip the original vintera and get yourself a vintera Ii guitar. The frets make a big difference

    • @KartikSharma-yr9lm

      @@MrNotForEveryone thanks. But where does it say the Pickups are different? Vintera 1 seems to have Tim Shaw 50s pups whereas the no caster just says 50s pups. I love the 7.25" radius :)

    It's a bit on the heavier side for a Tele. Maybe it's due to the fat neck, but my CS Nocaster is about 3kg with the same neck. Maybe it's the Alder vs. Ash Body. Anyway, the 3.6kg on mine is nothing that can't be handled. I changed the Pickups to CS Nocasters and the Pickguard from the original plastic to a vintage correct bakelite. All in all it's a pretty sweet Nocaster for the price 👍

    • @stratolestele7611
      @stratolestele7611 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My experience is the same with my j. Mascis Tele (had to have that blue sparkle finish, chunky neck, jumbo frets, and the nitro tint on the road worn neck (and around the bridge) and I dig the pickups).
      Anyway, mine was heavy too and also MIM (heavier pieces of alder?) , so I asked my luthier to give it a tummy cut, along with the "smugglers route" to remove as material as possible. It's lighter, but still not light. My Fullerton ASAT Classic smokes it in every category.

    they should just make better guitars and stay to the authentic looks instead of 50"s accurate specs . Who wants to have an guitar that itonates not good? does not stay good in tune ?? me me because in the 50"s they all sounded out of tune. what a bs 70 years of inovation and they still put out every year that same sh*t with their strats and teles . whats the difference between the vintera 1 and 2 and fender road worn 1 ,2 ,3 ..... they should be improving on the fret quality electronics..... every yaer but the onyl thing that keeps inovating every year is their profit per instrument i think. I hope i"m wrong though..
