wow... so rj corman has taken over the branchline... that's pretty cool that you would do that... and by the way that does happen in real life where a class 1 will spin off or lease a portion of the property to a shortline... 9 times outta 10, the short line is way more DEDICATED to serving the single car customers than the giant class 1 anyway... so how do you like your intermountain geep????... they look NICE and seem like they run pretty good
I don’t know what kind of decoder you use, but if you don’t already, ESU is an amazing option. I found a method that I haven’t seen anywhere else of making consisting extremely easy, along with the possibility of adding multiple function maps. I have a video on it on my channel. As far as I’m aware, no one else knows about this. If you do decide to watch it, just know it’s kinda cringey. I apologize, it’s my first time.
I do like ESU decoders as well as Tsunami. Both are good in their own ways. I really like the ESU programmer! Thanks for the comments and glad you enjoyed the video!
Looks like great fun!! I sure missed my layout 😔 am doing a club now. (What size is your layout?) I had a 16×8+3 under the table storage tracks that held 76 cars😢 cheers from OC
RJ Corman in an effort to establish an aggressive business strategy have elected to expand their operations out west. This will enable the RJ Corman Railroad Company to become more competitive in all facets of the industry…. At least here on my model railroad 😉Thanks for watching and for the comment!
Thank you very much! I’ve been into model railroading for over 40 years and have been collecting since I was young. I have weathered some of my rolling stock and I typically use weathering chalks and an airbrush.
As long as the decoder address is properly programmed for each engine it shouldn’t matter the decoder brand. At least in my experience. I have a Digitrax system for DCC.
@@milepost33 I have Prime Mover functions with auto start with tsunami decoders and F8 for ESU and when I try to start the locomotives in a consist one tries to start and the other shuts down. I know that they are properly programmed but the F8 mute is really annoying for the Tsunami decoders
Just found your channel and loving it. Your layout looks the biz. :)
I would like to see a railroad tour and an engine tour! Great video!
Thanks and yes I plan on doing a proper tour of the railroad.
Excellent layout. Love the detail. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much!
Beautiful Layout and Operations Video. New Sub here... Really enjoyed the video thanks Heaps for this! Cheers
Thank you very much!! I’m glad you enjoy the videos!!
You've done wonders with your layout since your last video!
Thanks Matt! I really appreciate that. So much more to do… nothing is finished!
@@milepost33 I know how you feel; my layout, though much smaller, is not finished either.

Where did you acquired your acid tank car with the pinkish center strip at the load station?
That tank car is an Athearn Genesis that I believe came from Arnie’s Trains in Westminster, CA.
How do trains get to your upper level? Helix?
No helix but just a straight climb at a 2.5% grade.
Looks like great fun!! I sure missed my layout 😔 am doing a club now. (What size is your layout?) I had a 16×8+3 under the table storage tracks that held 76 cars😢 cheers from OC
I was fortunate to have done those routes and it was fantastic!
I'm confused. RJ Cormen is east coast, i thought? Why would they come all the way to the center U.S/lower PNW?

Where did you get all your trains and how did you weather them
Love your videos new subscriber

How did you consist your locomotives with different decoders
As long as the decoder address is properly programmed for each engine it shouldn’t matter the decoder brand. At least in my experience. I have a Digitrax system for DCC.
