I have the previous generation Omega which I think is better looking than the current one, but also have the latest Breitling Superocean Heritage B20 green dial (unboxed it today!!) which is by a million miles the better looking watch. Won't be leaving my wrist anytime soon. Both great watches though....
I am really tempted to buy a nice rubber strap for my Seamaster, however I have also been tempted to sell the SMP300. Not sure which will win out. I do like the overall design of both watches though.
@@WrongTimeWatch personally the added black rubber strap changes the watch to near perfection. Could always try an aftermarket cheaper rubber strap to see what you think and at least you’ll know?
I have that Superocean but in green and it is a beauty. That being said boy that Seamaster is a very nice watch as well! A great pair to be compared. Chosen well for a head to head I'd say.
They certainly are good looking watches. Thanks, I just happen to own a seamaster, and had the SOH in for review, so I figured that they would be good to compare to each other.
Breitling is more elegant/dressier- Omega more 'tool' tough - both are great! I have the Breitling on the Alligator strap with the deployment- then it REALLY looks elegant and dressier (and a perfect complement to my 'tool' on the Oyster- my Tudor Black Bay...)
The SOH is an awesome dressy diver. It really is a good looking watch. I think I would wear it on the mesh bracelet, but I am sure the alligator strap looks very nice as well.
I really don't like Seamaster watches. Absolutely hate that helium escape valve that does absolutely nothing. The Breitling is such a classy looking watch. If I were buying one of these it would be the Breitling all day long
@@WrongTimeWatch I had to have a watch maker size the bracelet because I couldn't budge the screws and the watch maker had to heat them to get them out.
Nice review, thanks. They are both great looking watches but can’t believe the Breitling does not have on the fly adjustment for that price or that, even though the Omega does, the clasp is not long enough to cover the ugly end of the bracelet when it is fully extended!!! Lume on that Breitling is also shocking for a £5k watch. £500 - £1,000 watches out there with same spec, on the fly and great lume, what the hell do you pay for?!!🤔
Thank you, and I agree with you. The price of luxury items is hard to justify on a rational basis. There is some value to brand recognition and heritage. Form over function I suppose.
Breitling is a dress watch with swimming possibilities. For this the lume is perfect. When I’m at work I don’t want my watch to shine like a flashlight. If you want a tool watch there is Breitling super ocean (not heritage). That’s why I decided for Breitling. But… the clasp could really have fast adjustment. That’s why I bought the rubber strap WITH a clasp with fast adjustment.
@@egza2062 this is annoying. I have a SOH2 on mesh because the mesh just makes the watch…but the lack of fine adjustment is a little annoying in the summer when the wrists expands and contracts more.
Both great watches but if you're paying the same price, the omega wins hands down. Detail, quality, movement, lume, clasp, water resistance etc. The breitling is gorgeous but I think they're getting greedy with prices and need to stay in their lane as a Tudor competitor. Not omega level.
Personally the Omega looks hideous and with that Bracelet looks even worse! The hands bezel he and Bracelet are all duds, the Omega boys think their watch is a sub killer 😂. This Breitling is an amazing watch, the on fly MA was lazy not to add to this upgraded clasp and the lume needs to be fixed on the next gen asap. At 200M should definitely be 12mm thickness even though I like the way it wears
@@WrongTimeWatch Not a fan of the design and functionality at all. I love the Heritage Seamaster they brought back from 57 That watch is a work of art. If they do a matted ceramic bezel I would add that one to my collection.
Omega must be compared with Rolex , those watches ( omega / Rolex ) in the same class and quality , Breitling is poor e lower quality when you compare to omega.
Love both. But the Breitling is one of the best looking watches built
I like parts of both of these watches.
I own the SMP 300 GMT, but of these two, I prefer the Breitling.
I agree with you. I wish I could combine some parts of these watches, as I like certain things about both of them.
Ngl I’m a fanboy of Omega but that Breitling is BEAUTIFUL.
I totally agree, the Breitling is a good looking watch.
That breitling is beautiful
I totally agree
Breitling all day , such a classy piece
I agree, it is a very good looking watch.
Not usually a fan of breitling’s designs but that one is a hit. Handsome piece
I totally agree. If this watch was a few mm thinner I would be very tempted to add it to my collection.
even better with green dial
I have the SOH green 46 rubber strap and it always gets nice comments and impresses people with its elegant sporty design ❤👌
I can't argue with that. As long as you are happy with it, that is all that matters.

@@rcthor1066 That is a great point, plenty of other watch brands out there.
Omega on the rubber is really a cool watch. The Breitling on the rubber would be my choice but both are awesome

The mesh on the SOH is simply stunning. The rubber looks nice but nowhere near the level of finish that the mesh offers.

@@WrongTimeWatch Holding you back? I thought you owned the Seamster.
@@Nick-cs9dtI do, I meant holding me back from liking it.
@@WrongTimeWatch I see, thanks for clarifying.
Both are great watches. However, I own the blue seamaster, so I might be a bit biased.
If I had to pick between these two, I would have a hard time picking one.
@@WrongTimeWatch I had to have a watch maker size the bracelet because I couldn't budge the screws and the watch maker had to heat them to get them out.
I have both of them. Probably i am a very happy person 😂🎉
You are blessed for sure
Probably?
I buy breitling superoceon heritage ii b01 chronograph and tudor black bay chronograph, super like breitling soh
I am not much of a chronograph guy, but I agree they are nice watches.
To clarify, Tudor makes the breitling movement and Rolex makes the Tudor movement ?
No, both movements are "in-house" tudor movements. It is a different company that makes the movements, but Tudor owns a majority of that company.
both are nice but i will always like OMEGA as my #1 do u have to send them back?
I own the Omega, but yes, I sent back the Breitling.
I love Superocean Heritage
I agree, it is a really good looking watch
Bracelet on the omega is horrible but it is the better watch. More expensive too so it’s something to factor in
Those are good points. I prefer certain things about each watch, but I don't like either one enough to replace my Submariner or BB58.
Nice review, thanks.

Omega, for me anyway. Never seen a breitlng that I liked
There are a few Breitling watches that I like, but I have not purchased one yet. Maybe one day.
Navitimer soo beautiful

Lugs area and side body look so cheap on that superocean compare to omega
The twisted lugs of the Omega Seamaster are one of my favorite features.

I do one day intend to compare my submariner to my seamaster, even though that video has probably been done 100 times by now, LOL.
Which part of the Breitling is lower quality?
lol.. what a newbie comment 😂
