The devil knows that you are empty whenever you don't meditate before you sleep at night.Therefore, he uses this opportunity to attack you in various ways either through gunshot,eating in the dream, chasing you, flogging you and so forth. When the day dawns, such attacks begin to manifest in real life leading to afflictions ,setbacks,stagnation,sickness e.t.c. However when you meditate before you sleep, your heart will continue to meditate even when you are deep asleep hence shielding you from Satan's attacks.
