- How can you tell if someone is following you?
First of all, make sure you are doing the basic check to see if you are being followed. Is someone behind you and following you turn for turn as you drive? That's the most obvious sign that you are being followed and that will work for the untrained amateur that's trying to tail you. But...

One counter measure you can use is to look for the same vehicle showing up over and over again even if you haven’t seen it following you!
But how can you tell that the dark blue Toyota you think you've seen twice before is the same one you think you see now down the block from your house?
Here's the trick...
Note the license plate number. And if that's too hard to remember (or catch) - and here's the trick - just note the last two digits of the plate number!
This is not a foolproof method, but it's a quick and easy “hack” and here's why...
The odds that two random vehicle have the same last two digits is only about 1%. Right? The odds that a random two digit number is the same as another random two digit number is only 1 in 100.
Of course that doesn't mean it's following you, but it does mean you need to give it more attention from a counter surveillance perspective.
So here's the thing, learn how a good detective will conduct surveillance and you will be well on you way to understanding how to counter it.

1. Notice patterns or the same people, objects, or occurrences separated by time, distance, and direction.
2. Do not believe in coincidences. Investigate.
3. If someone is out to get you, paranoia is only good thinking (It pays to error on the side of caution)

if you're doing something that you think could put you in the crosshairs of law enforcement etc then act accordingly. Assume they're everywhere and be smart about it. Paranoia isn't fun. But it's part of the job

Watching for actual threats is not Paranoia, it is Wisdom. Look at HSD site, describing domestic terrirists ..which has nothing to do with illegals from mexico or elsewhere, as our gov HELPS them come -- but rather, it is about unconstiturional Laws, corruption, tyranny, and the Ignorant citizens who think tv is their friend, and not the elitists' Mis, Dis and Mal-Info Tool (enterTrainment & Programming). They employ retired vets, serving vets, criminals, neighborhoid crazies, alcoholic Lodge boys and so-called "heroes". The Patriot Act was the proverbial nail in our collective coffins. What is now Legal, was never Constitutional.
Did i mention i am Targetted, for learning of and reporting my ex-spouse's Egregious tax crimes. Surprise .. the judge, law, etc won't even help me get the criminal jailed for 50+ yrs. Did i mention my ex-spouse of 40 years is born of a bloodline family lineage, and his protective bro worked at the 5sided bldg? It ain't easy, but it IS fascinating, AND sceeery. Crazy evil.

I was put into a situation once that entailed my home being surveilled by US marshals etc…they have markings on their plates indicating they’re marshals so yeah I know cuz I walked right up to the vehicle and looked …..but! Anyone who would do that based on assumption or the statements made by criminals on someone who has no record or history of being shady….needs retrained cuz they’re idiots! The law enforcement involved in the case pertaining to my exhusband apparently are the dumbest in history for assuming I was involved and then put me and my sons through living hell running us out of town and then causing a gang stalking situation for us in the town we moved to…I had cops sitting out in front of my place staring us down constantly…the neighbors calling in false reports on us….harassing us to no end…breaking in to my place when we weren’t home…following us and trying to run us off of the road…it destroyed our lives because the cops assumed the criminals were being truthful and decided to ruin our lives because of it…I watched the electric company open my gated yard and coax my dog out and walk him to the end of the block to a cop car…I told the cop when he came to give me a ticket that I saw what happened and I know what they’re up to and that it was pathetic…he tried denying it but I told him I knew for a fact and I won’t be gaslit …then he apologized and admitted that the chief told them to ticket me for everything they could that the goal was to get me to leave town because my ex husband..a huge narcissist…told them I was involved believing this would help him get a lesser charge because I won’t roll over belly up and plead guilty to something I didn’t do…he’ll no I won’t! If I’m innocent…then I will fight to the end…this pos was willing to have me hang for something I had no knowledge of at all…an eye opener for me about his true nature as well as the competency of the local and state police force in my state…I have a hell of a case against all of them according to my ex husbands attorney…who ended up hating my ex after the two year long trial and who I got to know fairly well in the end..he helped me out by writing some letters to certain people to get them to leave me alone…bless him for doing that…but what we were put through was so cruel and evil it’s unforgivable ….I wouldn’t wish that bs on anyone ever! And to think these are trained law enforcement and detectives…to assume guilt like that when it’s not even in the persons typical behavior is where the crime is…

Some of us are pros at this due to being gangstalked since 1995 but so you have any tips for targeted individuals and how put these stalkers in jail? They think that they have a right to do this to people and these stalkers really need to be held accountable someday.

The only way to catch the perps and lock them away is to hire a private investigator. Unfortunately, many T.I., like myself, cannot afford such a thing. It would be great if the disparate groups could join together and become a tax exempt charity.

Excellent tip
Some organizations utilize several vehicles/personnel through out a known route to follow someone as to not raise suspicion. Also, some states do mandate the use of front license plates Florida is one fo them. Best to have a front a rear view camera/go pro that can record/take a quick snapshot of vehicle and possibly a driver. They are a bit expensive but worth the investment in your safety/security.
Once I was waiting for a taxi for a long time one night. As I sat there, cars passed by me in the large parking lot. Then, I began to notice that some of the same cars kept passing me by! 😬

The best thing to do is ignore them. I mean u can break the 3rd wall occasionally,& let them know u know. But don't let them see u sweat...
Looking at a license plate that is front mounted is only applicable in certain states. Trick is, if you recognize the same vehicle and it is unattended, jot down the license plate from the rear. Than, a small piece of white tape on the lower right passenger side portion of the front bumper usually does the trick. That area will not likely be visible or noticeable to a driver entering their vehicle. make it look like it just flew on the car too by dirting it up a little. Don't place it perfectly on or it will risk you blowing your counter. That portion of the bumper can be easily viewed looking out from your passenger side mirror.

I drive circles and go to areas I know no cars travel. If I see a car I continue to circle until my next random road where no one drives. I also make sudden turns without blinkers go a block do a u turn. I know several spots I know no cars go that are long roads. I go up then back. I have ptsd and get paranoid sometimes. My gf tells me I’m stupid ect. But my nephew was in trouble and bounty hunters were posted up down the street close to my house. I seen it and thought that is unusual. And said maybe my neighbor had company. I left and drove a little faster to get out my neighborhood. When I seen that vehicle come out my neighborhood I knew they was following me. I slowed down and caught the light. Their windows was tinted so I couldn’t see in. I just acted casual light a cigarette 🚬 rolled the window down just enjoying my smoke. All time in my head I was planning to make my move. They was in the far lane I was drive speed limit or higher and just turned on a dime raced through the parking lot of a mc Donald’s and back on the road made a u turn and was looking them dead in the face through the front window. With a concrete median in between us I seen cop gear so I pulled in a store with cameras. 📸 just in case they was gonna beat me up or something. Cops will do that here in Louisiana and then take you to jail for assaulting them.

Joshua, that's solid advice. A blacked out windshield can be a dicey call, but I really like "tread lightly at first". Thanks for the addition to the conversation!
You can also stop and fill your tank then drive out into an area that has no traffic and is wide open. The tale will fall back in an effort to stay undetected. As soon as you see that your lead is maximized get your camera ready and slowly speed up 30 - 40 mph and as soon as they lose sight of you make a U turn and pull to the side of the road and start your video. As they round the bend or crest the hill and come into view, pan with the car keeping the driver centered in the frame. Now find some sort of lay enforcement and make them a copy of the video.

My situation involves local LE. At one time a cop ACTUALLY said to me "Coincidence, I don't believe in coincidence."
That was years ago... I'm so fucked bc my driver's license has been continually suspended. This began in October 2000 and continues.
It's now so layered that I am preceding to set up a meeting with the Governor of the state I reside. And if you are interested, I've been trying to avoid driving but when you live in a rural area are single and have a child, now young adult, who is disabled... after 19 YEARS of this Insanity, I'm beginning to think that I'm ready to leave...

Yes, they have a manual and utilize phone applications including RISS from the department of Homeland Security. Easy for you to say. U aren't the one whom was falsely arrested twice I. A week. Where affiants filed complaint a month before I knew anything and was harassment charge on me after this punk ripped me off 100 as advance to get food for the young couple then 100 for weed. But he and his girlfriend picked texts and transferred to her phone as he dealt drugs. I have smoked weed since teenager, but never been a dealer. They told cops I am drug dealer and that's how illegal search and kicking in my door came to be. Then after I saw report I told clerk truth, so instead of make it right they arrested me again but at 7 am I hid at loud knock on door In attic. This time wife told them I was in attic but they arrested her for hindering and prosecuted cause she didn't listen to me and divorced me as she was on probation 18 months 70 hrs community service all for saying he's in the attic. I other hand got dismissed all charges as warrant was non existent at time. Then falsifying reports and lies went to conspiracy blah blah.blah. I lost job , marriage and locked In. Hot squad car 92 degrees for 40 or so minutes as punishment and now retaliation against me for filing complaints. You have no idea and I'm not anti cop. I started college In Criminology. But my story is deep In Corruptions now. Border patrol , couple cities cops , sheriff's dept, and jail also .
