Hello Gina! I bought the Dyson V15 from Costco about 8 months ago. I love it! The first thing I noticed was having to hold down the button. I went on Amazon and bought a little gadget you can attach, and it holds it down for you. The package I bought had two devices and they are the same color as the Dyson (gray/red). I think it was $9.99. It was totally worth it. I prefer the Dyson on the hardwood, don’t love it as much on the carpet in the bedrooms. I have 3 dogs and it picks up all of the hair!
I bought a Miele vacuum. The sales man said a Dyson has a 5 yr warranty and that’s how long they’ll last. I paid about $1,100 for my Miele in about 2004 and it still works. I paid $1,400 for my Thermax Extractionair in 1992, it was the sale demo. We still use it today. You get what you pay for in vacuums.
I bought a v5 about 10 years ago. It wouldn’t charge and I bought a new lithium battery about 2 years ago and earlier this spring the Motörhead stopped and I found a used one on eBay. It’s been great. I use it several times a week. Never dread vacuuming. Hope you have good luck with yours. It looks amazing
Another amazing post! The Sky High mascara is a great product and a steal! Glad you finally got your Dyson! They are so expensive but now even regular vacuums are like $200. That patio heater looks really well made and for only $100 that's a steal too! Best, from Colorado!
Thank you so much! Buying the Dyson was a big decision for us. With our allergies, I needed something really good. That mascara is a great deal, especially for three! I have a couple of products from Maybelline, and they work better than expensive brands. 😉
I have the Dyson V12, which is the smaller version of the V15. The V12 has a power button that you don't have to hold down. I absolutely love it! Be aware that many of them (including my first one) have an issue where the motor immediately gives you a "clean filter" warning that won't go away, but if that happens they'll replace it. You also have to clean everything regularly, but it's easy. Also, don't get those voice alert detectors! They fail often and start yelling things like "fire" in the middle of the night when there's no fire.
Please keep us updated on the Dyson. Been eyeing it, bought and returned another brand, would not hold a charge pass 10 minutes. Seems that’s the biggest complaint with with cordless stick vacuums. Also would be curious if having to hold the trigger on, all the time becomes bothersome. Great video.

It depends on what you purchase. I see a lot of similar pricing, but at times, it's the quantity that is the difference. I like shopping at both stores.

You can get refurbished Dyson for so much less. I got the one that’s $599 for $200 from the company and it works wonderfully also looks brand new.
