I was so captivated that it completely slipped my mind to capture the moment on my switch. But thanks to this video, I got to relive that moment again. Tears in my eyes fr
The Grand Festival was indeed a TRUE & a Magical moment.......I've never cried so much from this song & it definitely touches both the hearts & souls of all of us Splatoon fan's & player's. I managed to take a ton of photos of the event & they're definitely gonna be my BIGGEST treasure of my memories forever.

It was truly magical, running all the way to the Giant Clam stage from the station just so I wouldn't miss the intro that I knew I wouldn't catch again for a period of time (back then, I didn't realize I'd have to wait 26 hours)
I noticed that Deep Cut are the only group with fully animated mouths during this event. Previously, all idols just had a set of positions their mouths could be in, and it just switches between them as needed. This did also apply to Deep Cut during other Splatfests as well. But for some reason, they've got fully animated faces in this event while the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook just stay the same. It would've made sense to make them all have fully animated faces, especially since they've all got concert models that do this, and the choreography for most of the songs in the earlier half of the event was clearly extracted from those concerts.
@@annabelscriven For the life of me, I have no clue. I honestly think they could've done it for all 3 groups, especially since they have fully animated models from concerts.
i heard that deep cut uses the same face preset thing the other idols do it’s just that nintendo happened to put more effort into making it look like actual lip sync in their case … or something like that i dont remember
These 3 games helped me get through a lot. splat 1 came out when I was in 8th grade, splat 2 helped me through high school and splat 3 helped me stay sane the last couple years. but that's not all they did. Splat 1 got me into shooters, splat 3 helped me find my current friends, and splat 2 helped me realize I was trans. I didn't listen to all of it when it first dropped. I waited to hear it in game. all of my emotions hit like a bus and it hurt when it was all said and done. I'm glad these 3 games exist and I can't wait for what the next game does for the series.
