First of all, don't forget who is working behind the project: Tencent, a multi-billion-dollar company that knows what it's doing, and Lightspeed Studio, the same team behind Apex Mobile. I'm pretty sure they understand to what extent they can use the Apex license. Both Tencent and Lightspeed have experience, and I'm sure they wouldn't risk everything just to get banned. Also, don't forget the word 'sunset.' Perhaps Respawn already had some kind of agreement with these two companies back at that time.Regarding the release no news yet....
