i am so glad i found on kiosk, like newspaper stand, ferrari la ferrari, in silver, you wouldn't belive me, i found so many good castings on kiosk, p1 in orange, one time i was driving by one kiosk, i stopped to look for hotwheels and i found orange lamborghini veneno, one other time i found f12 berlinetta, once i found treasure hunt ford fiesta with pink wheels, i was so happy that i decided to go and just check if they have any :)
Someone who (used to, at least) lives in Bismarck, ND owns a black Vector. I don't remember who, but I heard he used to work for the company. I saw it drive by as a little kid, but no one believed me when I described how it looked. Around 2013 I saw it again at a Dairy Queen, but that time I was with family, so I knew I wasn't crazy! I'd really like to meet the guy if he still lives nearby, and see that incredible car again.
I am proud to say I own a red LaFerrari. Well, the chrome on the wheels faded away with time, or with the local weather being warm, or with being handled. With chrome or not, I still got it :D
Toyota has restricted almost all of it's licensing, toys and games. Forza was able to snag one last one for F7. They claimed games and toys are part of the reason for their lack of sales...
Well this model was released in 2005. Came out in white with 2 wheels variations and in 2007 in the mystery black blister era and from then vanished. We never saw that one again.
I have Ferris' Ferrari, the Tommy Boy GTX, Bond's GT2000, the Koenigsegg, the Maserati, the LaFerrari, the Mini WRC, and the Nissan Vision but I REALLY want the Aston DB4, but on the other hand REALLY don't want to pay $30 for it haha.
Really cool video I just found the existence of because of some random google search which brought me to a old Reddit post which then linked me to this video lmao
While the classic Bugatti is a casting I'd love to see return (which is possible since it never got an official "Final Run" release), that one got at least a dozen different variations from 1981 to 2006.
Even NFS lost Ferrari since Hot Pursuit 2 when NFS was good because NFS Underground came out and was not only a disgrace to Ferrari, but was a bad game for car guys. Then it came back in NFS Rivals more than a decade later. Looks lile Ferrari only wants to accept games with good visuals at time periods is all.
I have a Hot Wheels Retro Entertainment '74 Checker Taxi Cab (a rather obscure car) which appeared in the movie called "Taxi" or something like that. The only Checker Hot Wheels has ever released. Also I hope Hot Wheels gets their Ferrari license back.
I hope the agera returns because they clearly have no license issues with Koen. since the jesko has been released before and the gemera was recently released.
1:46 i got the agera r. Not just any though. The norm of the agera's base usually says ccx. I got the rarer variation that has the correct agera r on the base instead of ccx.
Not sure if it’s a one n done, but I haven’t seen the Volkswagen squareback after the real riders version. Picked up the set, I believe it was in the air cooled car culture collection
Mike B The white one seemed to be the one that caught my eye, but nowadays I would prefer the yellow one as it has it's classic stock look with deluxe tires
Recently got that green Nissan, I feel like it will turn into a one and done since they made that casting have a wider wheel base. Its the only one of the 2 car culture cars that I have bought :D
Part of why we have never seen the Mini Countryman WRC again, is because of issues with the WRC team itself. The car was, very briefly, an official Mini "works" team vehicle. Then, because of financial and management issues with the company that had produced the WRC variant, Mini pulled their backing from the team. The team went on a bit of a licensing blitz offering the car out to almost anyone for it's likeness, to try and bolster the teams appeal as a last resort to get some money coming in, but sadly, without the factory money, changing WRC regulations coming quickly, and unable to keep up with the pace of development from the likes of Ford and Citroen, the (now unofficial) Mini team pulled the plug on the whole affair. Some of the spare chassis stayed in the UK, and we're bought up by a team that turned them into World Rally Cross cars, and upgraded them to a 2.0L engine from the WRC spec 1.6L, with limited success. And at least one chassis, and a truck full of spares, ended up in Canada in the hands of one of the Canadian Rally Championship top level drivers. But, again, without any kind of official support, and the company that made the vehicle no longer being in existence such as it was, they were plagued with parts issues, and reliability problems, not being able to do any rapid upgrading, as parts had to be made from scratch. So more than likely, the WRC Countryman will never be seen again, as who knows where the licensing for that body shape resides now. And it's probably too much of a hassle for Mattel to care finding out.
As far as I know they stopped making that in 2016, and some trickled out in 2017, but it's a casting from 2013, and was one of the many "licensing blitz" toys as the team was going under. I'm sure that is why they kept producing the casting like they did, because they probably bought a multi year deal for cheap. It could also be why HotHweels never reproduced the casting, they may have signed an exclusive deal with them. Similar to how HotWheels lost the Ferrari license. But, like I said, who knows who holds the licensing now, and what it would take to get it.
The HW Wiki has a pretty decent list of 'One Hit Wonders' on their site, where the ones listed were literally released in one version and never again, hence why the TT and the Aston aren't on that page, because of the color variations. The list includes the original Bad Mudder (that one was a licensing issue, not with Ford, but with the real versions' driver, Robby Gordon), along with a stunning Neo-Classics Purple Passion Convertible (not licensed, but Purple Passion has always been a very likable model), which only 11,000 were made, the Holden Commodore VN, which, at the same time, is and isn't a one-and-done, since the street version saw one release, while a police version was made and saw numerous releases (and became a common model for cheap Chinese toy companies to copy for all plastic models sold at dollar stores), and a few carryover Corgi castings. The Quattroporte, both then and now, seem more like it would have fit Matchbox rather than HW, which may have been a reason for the one-and-done status. I guarantee that if that had been an MBX casting, we'd have seen multiple versions by now.
I had a one hit wonder from 2004, a 'Tooned 1964 Chevrolet Impala. I went to one of my school colleagues's house one day and I left that there. I hope it's still there so I can pick it up again
The Alfa Romeo B.A.T. could easily pass as an alternative Batmobile. The '67 Plymouth Belvedere GTX is a casting i want to see return as well as the Audi TTS and the Mini Countryman. Great video.
At the time it was released, I didn't really collect Hot Wheels, but in the UK we had a store called Woolworth's, sadly gone the way of the dinosaurs, now, but they used to carry a vast selection of Hot Wheels models. My young niece used to collect them, and I'd occasionally pick up a couple for her, and on this ocassion, I saw the Alfa Romeo and thought: "What the f**k is that? It's stupid cool" and bought it. The thing looks like a tiny 1950's style flying saucer. What's not to like about it?
Anthony Whitford - I know. A friend of mine had one, but it was a thirsty beast - but I don't have a model of one, but I do have a model of the Alfa Romeo.
Love that Mini Countryman Rally. Probably my favourite out of that bunch. Was fortunate enough to pick up both the red and green one . Sad to see Mattel hasn't brought it back. Would be cool to see it in a rally style car culture mix with a livery like that of the Countryman WRC when it was first unveiled. #37, with the checker-board livery on the side. 😍 That casting is most certainly under-rated.
Even if it was brought back in the Then & Now basic line, with a classic Mini, it would still be awesome and I would definitely grab it if I could find it.
Have you ever thought about showing the Final Runs Hot wheel cars ?..I have 3 of the cars you showed this video . 2 corvettes and the "Dream or passion project hw car.
That TOMMY BOY '67 Plymouth GTX might be in my top 10 Hot Wheels "(Retro) Entertainment" cars because it's a 1960s car done "straight" and also because its a much less obvious choice of a movie car to get the "Entertainment" treatment. You don't really get obscure movie cars in "Entertainment" anymore, and I fully understand it's because a lot of the oddball choices ended up as pegwarmers but still it seems "Entertainment" now is dominated by videogame cars, Fast and Furious (though I never saw that wave in Ottawa), Batmobiles from recent DC movies, and reruns of really obvious cars like the Back to the Future DeLorean or KITT from Knight Rider.
A cool video idea would be to show cars that were produced for a short couple of years and then disappeared. Some cars like Speed Blaster in the late 1990's and early 2000's had many variations and seemed to do well until their disappearance. Commando was another one of these models- only had six releases in the late 1990's and early 2000's and was then gone. The Saleen S7 is another example. That may be an interesting video to make if there's time for you guys.
I remember a convertible Toyota 2000GT appearing in Sailor Moon, obviously no brand will bother to get the Sailor Moon and Toyota licenses to make a car that appeared in only brief scenes every now and then, but one can dream
Great video. I really liked that 2009 Audi TTS. I regret getting rid of my Audi TTS now and after watching this video. I think another great Ferrari casting that never saw the light of day and is my favorite vintage Ferrari is the 250 GTO. It seemed like that got three colors when it was released as a new model in 2009 and then that was it. Also, the Lamborghini Muercielago LP670-4 Superveloce. It seems like that was only released once or twice before disappearing off the map. And the Bugatti Veyron also disappeared as well.
I have the Ferrari Dino in a premium Batman-themed set, believe it or not, along with a Shelby Cobra and a Jaguar E-Type and a little 1/64 scale figure of Alfred Pennyworth. I think the Batman connection is that they were all cars seen in "Bruce Wayne's Garage" (the official title of the set) in the Joel Schumacher Batman movies. I also have the Dino from Hot Wheels Garage 2011 and the Hart to Hart "Retro Entertainment" release (the final "Retro Entertainment" Ferrari).
Edonis, Ford GT 90, Saleen S7, Audi Avus and Peugeot cars.
86 monte carlo
I have that Maserati Quattroporte.
hope they remake lamborghini murcielago sv
Your wish is granted. They'll make that for their Lamborghini 5 pack.
The caddilac escalade and the escalade ext
one and done 2012 Funny side up
We need more Maseratis and that Ferrari license
Got ahold of the Agera RS when it was new. Such a cool car
Very interesting models! I just love it!
bring back Maserati MC12
I have them all
I have that red nfs egg still cased, and I got that silver Alfa Romeo
Hot Wheels only made 1 S14
i am so glad i found on kiosk, like newspaper stand, ferrari la ferrari, in silver, you wouldn't belive me, i found so many good castings on kiosk, p1 in orange, one time i was driving by one kiosk, i stopped to look for hotwheels and i found orange lamborghini veneno, one other time i found f12 berlinetta, once i found treasure hunt ford fiesta with pink wheels, i was so happy that i decided to go and just check if they have any :)
The 87 Toyota pick up and the Street Roader( Suzuki Samurai)
Bugatti Veyron , Excavator , AND THE Dodge Aries K Wagon
ted hughbanks They made the Bugatti as a part of the mainline, mystery models and speed machines line. Multiplie releases there buddy
I just bought an Alfa Romeo BAT 9.
Someone who (used to, at least) lives in Bismarck, ND owns a black Vector. I don't remember who, but I heard he used to work for the company. I keep telling myself I'm not going to collect the small ones anymore and I still haven't stopped 🤣
Hoping for a Callay C12
I'm partial to White Chapparals and thAT is very cool also early Harley Earl Stingray
The later version of the last Ferrari 5 pack had the F40 without an opening engine bay, the body was one solid piece.
Toyota has restricted almost all of it's licensing, toys and games. Forza was able to snag one last one for F7. They claimed games and toys are part of the reason for their lack of sales...
Yes finally a Toyota
VIII-IX Media what a BS...
and now they are back.
You missed a big one; a hot wheels 100% Lamborghini miura
I.... I think you're talking about Matchbox buddy. If not, can you link me an image of it?
don't forget the Murcielago SV..
That was released twice - in Speed Machines and Decades
I’m from the future, it came back
I have GTX (in mainline Purple) and Laferrari (Silver one).
I have that Green Mini, still want to find that red one
Make a car culture with the name Fastest Cars #1 koenigsegg....
Maserati MC12 could've have count in this showcase
TheKingRacer007 that one was a mystery model around 2012
Well this model was released in 2005. Came out in white with 2 wheels variations and in 2007 in the mystery black blister era and from then vanished. We never saw that one again.
I have one.
I have a loose white one and I have it carded
I have Ferris' Ferrari, the Tommy Boy GTX, Bond's GT2000, the Koenigsegg, the Maserati, the LaFerrari, the Mini WRC, and the Nissan Vision but I REALLY want the Aston DB4, but on the other hand REALLY don't want to pay $30 for it haha.
Really cool video I just found the existence of because of some random google search which brought me to a old Reddit post which then linked me to this video lmao
Aston Martin One 77
Ferrari F12
1937 Bugatti
While the classic Bugatti is a casting I'd love to see return (which is possible since it never got an official "Final Run" release), that one got at least a dozen different variations from 1981 to 2006.
I hopefully they make a Agera or One:1
I hope they get the Ferrari license back
probably not, knowing Ferrari being Ferrari its probably REALLY expensive to get a licensing from them
idk I like some of their models

Then it came back in NFS Rivals more than a decade later. Looks lile Ferrari only wants to accept games with good visuals at time periods is all.
Yeah I still cant believe they gave it to Maisto
@@The_Bomb627 I Think they gave it to Tomica. Correct me if I am wrong.
You forgot the 2007 Audi r8.
Jingleheimer822 that was actually used in both the mainline and speed machines
no one ever remembers the Flying Customs off-road Olds 442 and it makes me sad. it's one of my favorite castings of all time!
I think they should
cool models!
Vector wx-3 was also one and done
😔 although I don't have any one of them,
But luckily (🤔4 years ago) I purchased
FERRARI CALIFORNIA
1:46 i got the agera r. Not just any though. The norm of the agera's base usually says ccx. I got the rarer variation that has the correct agera r on the base instead of ccx.
I have the Boulevard Oldsmobile 442 (widebody i think) but it bad shape thanks to my little brother
B.A.T. = Berlina Aero Technica, Alfa did several of them in the late 50's early 60's
Not sure if it’s a one n done, but I haven’t seen the Volkswagen squareback after the real riders version. Picked up the set, I believe it was in the air cooled car culture collection
Apparently the Batmobile and a 1963 Chevy Corvette had a baby and gave it in adoption to Alpha Romeo. Man, cars lives are complicated.
I would love to see the Dodge Challenger race car again.(thats a beast!)
Lamborghini murci SV, I know they did 2. Yellow and white. wish they would bring it back.
Mike B yeah they made a yellow LP670-4 for the Speed Machines line, and a white as a part of the 00' Cars of the decades line
*_BLAZE_* , yes I have the white, wish I got the yellow. Since it's my favorite color. But never saw it in the stores. The hunt is on
Mike B The white one seemed to be the one that caught my eye, but nowadays I would prefer the yellow one as it has it's classic stock look with deluxe tires
Recently got that green Nissan, I feel like it will turn into a one and done since they made that casting have a wider wheel base. Its the only one of the 2 car culture cars that I have bought :D
toyota removed the license for their cars on forza too. heard it was to change the way the company is perceived.
Those 2000GT wheels must come back HW!!!!
Lamley, has there ever been a casting for the nissan stagea? If not i think that would a really cool one to bring to life
Part of why we have never seen the Mini Countryman WRC again, is because of issues with the WRC team itself. The car was, very briefly, an official Mini "works" team vehicle. True, but...Majorette has one as well, and they're still making that one.

BAT stands for berlina aerodinámica tecnica
A Rally car culture set would be amazing!
I second that!
Wish granted.
i had the Maserati, until i strapped a black cat to it
update: its only worth $5 nib so no regrets

Nick Garzoli same I think people would be more interested in hot wheels
Your wish in now granted
Markus Patients lmaooo I love when jackasses like you are wrong, I know this comment is a year old but jeez
I love the Tommy Boy GTX and the Audi TTS the most.. so nice both.
They need to do the 1le
I have 50th anniversary fun favorite 55 Chevy gasser
Could use an updated video of casting since this video
I had a one hit wonder from 2004, a 'Tooned 1964 Chevrolet Impala. I went to one of my school colleagues's house one day and I left that there. I hope it's still there so I can pick it up again
I’ve got the BAT 🥳 Yes!
Have a couple of these but the Mini really stands out to me, because I loved it when I got it new. Still love it just as much!
The Mazda rx-8 only got one or two models in the early 2000s and hasn’t reappeared since
The Alfa Romeo B.A.T. could easily pass as an alternative Batmobile. The '67 Plymouth Belvedere GTX is a casting i want to see return as well as the Audi TTS and the Mini Countryman. Great video.
I have all besides the koenigsegg and I’m sad because I’m a huge koenigsegg fan
I have one of those 1955 Alfa Romeo B.A.T. (Berlinetta Aerodinamica Tecnica) 9 models. I regret opening it now.
don't be as most diecasts look better out of the package.
It's pronounced Quattro portayyy. It's not english.
Anthony Whitford - I know. A friend of mine had one, but it was a thirsty beast - but I don't have a model of one, but I do have a model of the Alfa Romeo.
The Nissan Silvia
i got that alfa romeo
Proud to say i have the Maserati, Vector, and the Nissan 2020 Vision
Didn't Hot Wheels lose the Koenigsegg license?
Love that Mini Countryman Rally. Probably my favourite out of that bunch. Was fortunate enough to pick up both the red and green one . Sad to see Mattel hasn't brought it back. i have the green one and i definitely love it
Have you ever thought about showing the Final Runs Hot wheel cars ?..I have 3 of the cars you showed this video . 2 corvettes and the "Dream or passion project hw car.
I have the red mini
mercedes 300TD, and i believe the other vector wx-8 avtech, and the mustang cobra that had the opening back.
I have a Ferrari f12 berlinetta in yellow only seen it once I have one of them along with the red laferrari. @Thelamleygroup
What about the Four-1? One of my all time faves.
the Chevy Chevette and the Ford Pinto wagon and then I will like to see bring back the horizons
That red vector was in the movie rising sun not sure if that was why hot wheels made it but thought I would throw that out there for movie fans
My number one choice for "One and Done" at least of those cars not already mentioned is the Lincoln Futura Concept from Hot Wheels Boulevard.
The NFS 2015 Mustang. It was a concept mustang with a different style of casting with the bigger rear wheels and amazing details
A cool video idea would be to show cars that were produced for a short couple of years and then disappeared. Some cars like Speed Blaster in the late 1990's and early 2000's had many variations and seemed to do well until their disappearance. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
the mini was a peg warmer
Do you have hotwheels limos?? And 1969 dodge challengers??
I remember a convertible Toyota 2000GT appearing in Sailor Moon, obviously no brand will bother to get the Sailor Moon and Toyota licenses to make a car that appeared in only brief scenes every now and then, but one can dream
Laferrari
The "vector" is not a 1 and done...originally from late 90s hot wheels on a all "blue card" ...
I really want agera R and laferrari back, I have the silver one, but miss those days when Ferrari was a big thing in hotwheels like chevrolet
The CCX is the next one coming out
Vehicle Swiftie wait really..YES YES O THANK YOU LORD
How do you know. I mean that is awesome is it going to be car culture asst or basic model
BloxusOG Which Car are you talking about?
Yaya Ortiz A basic or maybe a Ferrari series is coming soon?
Vehicle Swiftie Mattel actually released a 2010 CCXR Edition in their Fast & Furious line
I have a team burtwheels mercedes cl55
Great video. I really liked that 2009 Audi TTS. I regret getting rid of my Audi TTS now and after watching this video. I think another great Ferrari casting that never saw the light of day and is my favorite vintage Ferrari is the 250 GTO. It seemed like that got three colors when it was released as a new model in 2009 and then that was it. Also, the Lamborghini Muercielago LP670-4 Superveloce. It seems like that was only released once or twice before disappearing off the map. And the Bugatti Veyron also disappeared as well.
Wow !!, one and done's are so different ....for good or bad.
Toyota is being annoying. Seems like everyone has lost their licence with them. From Video games to diecast
Who lose their Toyota license? Looks like none from toy industry
and now they are back.
What about the Ferrari Dino? Also I fell like I should know more of these
The Dino was used more than once.
The Lamley Group oh didn’t know
I have the Ferrari Dino in a premium Batman-themed set, believe it or not, along with a Shelby Cobra and a Jaguar E-Type and a little 1/64 scale figure of Alfred Pennyworth.
Turbo interceptor from Wraith?
