It was conceptually an interesting twist on the standard Isekai tropes. But realistically it only meant that he already knew all the solutions so the even minimal struggle that gives characters, well character.

It's why I stopped watching after the second episode. If they start weak and get strong or are overpowered and need to learn the limits of that power they are still going on "the hero's journey". Maybe I didn't give this one a chance but it felt like immediately knowing everything was going to be a waste of my time.

Personally, I like the concept, the I feel that the execution was way off.
All of that in the end was completely useless. All of the character (all female), the relationship building and the fan-service all for him to end up “together with” his childhood friend that we didn’t see for half the anime, all of the other student’s training that amounted to hardly anything, Toma’s entire situation felt rather forced.
But, regardless of all of the flaws, it was enjoyable.
