Fishing with the Captain thanks mate cheers 👌 one last thing is there a certain time of year? For south qld I know they go down tasmania in around March
That would easily give away the area we find fish. But heading out we cruise at about 60kmhr and between searching areas and punching most of the time we do about 150-180L. Coming home we open it up so could be a bit better
@@mattbass_strait6030 nah all good man I know your boat. Same hull and running the proXS? Standard tank isn’t an issue to do a day on the swords but we always take a couple Jerry’s just in case we come tight on a big girl and get caught staying out there for them 8+ hour jobs and thru the night
Where abouts is this
Off the coast of lakes entrance Victoria, Australia.
Fishing with the Captain cheers do you know if they catch them in queensland?
Sure can. Best water for us is that 400-500m line on canyons and sharp drop offs. Anywhere you can find blue eye, Hapuka ect

All year mate. That’s just because they only get chased around that time. Got them all thru winter aswell

One of the best Ive ever seen
5 minutes of that clicker would induce tourette's
Daniel Erickson 😂 yeah your not wrong

Are you doing a single break away weight? Keep it attached or break it off at bottom? Nice work
Yeah single break away in some light mono 8lb mono been good for us can break it off if you want but can stay in as a break away when you get the bite
You skipped the one part i clicked on to watch 👍🏼
Haha ah mate I made the effort to film the bite and never had it recording ffs
A lot of fine eating there.
AMAZING drone footage on that mako. Do you have any still shots by any chance?
Awesome, just awesome.
Were you using hollow core braid or solid braid?
Solid core. The hollow core gets too water logged and can get a big belly in the line even when trying to keep your bait vertical
What gear you using??
Fishing with the Captain yeah mate bloody awesome!
Cheers
Hell yea! Well done...
cant ask for more than that! Calm seas, Great company, Nice rig, Monster fish...These fish are huge for Vic Fishos. So well done Pinters...
