Dear Friends…
I have wanted to do this song for you for a while but have hesitated because of the title (in video.) At any rate, this morning I had an experience which prompted me to once again think of this song, and in trying to bring comfort to the patient, I reminded him that there was someone who would remain always with him, even if I could not.
I will include the words below as the poetry part here, and as I said in the video, I apologize to my Jewish sisters and brothers beforehand if using this word for God is offensive. It is just so much a part of the song for me; I could not eliminate it.
I dedicate this to the patient I mentioned above and all those whom I visited today during my Spiritual Care Shadowing rounds. I also dedicate this to Deacon Bill for his gracious mentoring this morning. You are never alone….God is with us. As always, I also dedicate all that I do on this channel to the brother I never had but found on this journey …if only for a time. 🙏🏻
