This is such a good powder foundation. I’m dry and mature skin but even for me it looks so smooth n you can’t see powder. But I am extreme on skin prep and I like to put it over a hydrating skin tint or tinted sunscreen Also if you are oily it can be set w a setting powder lightly (bc it is a foundation not a setting powder)
I am really happy that this product works so well for you ☺️. It is though beyond my comprehension how some people do not understand that we are all different with so many differences in skin types and even then the same product might not work similarly for two people with the exact same skin type. I did prep my skin very well, if you must know because you obviously assume I haven’t. I used a hydrating ceramide serum, two different types of moisturizers layered (a gel one and a thicker one) targeted specifically where I needed more or less hydration because my skin is combination and I have applied a hydrating mineral sunscreen on top. I am also very well aware of the fact that this is a powder foundation thank you very much. “HD Skin Matte Velvet Powder Foundation corrects, blurs and mattifies the skin for up to 24 hours*, thanks to a combination of 3 different powders.” This is straight from their website. I also know it can be layered on top of skin tints, liquid foundations etc. But this is a review for the product and I chose to wear it as is because: - firstly people need to see how it performs on it’s own -secondly it does claim to mattify the skin for up to 24h by itself! My forehead already looked cakey as it was and I didn’t want to add to that cakeyness by putting more powder on top so I have used blotting paper the second day. Oh and btw they also say it can be used as a setting powder “For sheer coverage OR TO SET MAKEUP, apply with a powder brush.”
Breaks are normal. If I needed to explain all of my breaks for not being regular in whatever aspect. Being for mental health, physical health, mood swings, exhaustion, changes on my environment, family/social issues, holidays, etc, etc, etc. It would be so often that people would need to take a break from me 😂 The important thing is to take the time necessary for yourself and be as consistent as possible while being kind. Be as a responsible adult as possible and deal with what life throws at you ✨ I already heard that this foundation was not good. Is sad because I want MUF to have a comeback. Hopefully soon. Wishing you more calm times ahead 🙌
Thank you so much! 🤍 Yeah, I know breaks are normal It’s just that I finally started posting consistently again after a mental health break and then life happened and I just get so disappointed in myself if I don’t film or post consistently because I feel like I’m not going anywhere with my channel…TH-cam also hates me when I take breaks and my videos do so poorly after not posting for a little while. The foundation is not that bad, it was ok-ish the second day, but based on how it performed honestly it wouldn’t be a product I would normally reach for.
Moving is so stressful. How horrible of them to just kick you out... Normally it's just for the tennant to fix the possible (if any) damage that the animals would cause? Would you pls do a vid on heatless curls here or on your insta? My hair is this very straight n shiny and just won't hold.
Here, in the country we live some people are incredibly close minded when it comes to renting an apartment to pet owners. Of course we would have paid or fixed the damages if there were going to be any….we even offered more rent money each month and to double the deposit but they were incredibly rude and wanted us to pay double the rent and quadruple the deposit lol which usually is a months rent. They just made up those terms so we would be forced to move…I already have a video on how I do my heatless curls step by step, it’s the “How I style and take care of my hair” I think that’s what it’s called. My hair is usually pin straight too. Hope that helps 😊
Omg that's soo horrible! Why do apartments have such shitass rules over pets ! They wouldn't mind renting out to criminals and creeps but pets a big no 🥴 But i am glad you'll got a new place which is animal friendly ❤️ Good luck with your new stay..

Our contract didn’t even mention not being allowed to have pets but the owner was such a bitch about it and we didn’t want further conflict…anyway it’s all good now and the new owners are super chill and they love animals.
