Hey bro can you please make of video of that low crouching stance and how to move my head to dodge puches while I'm in that crouching stance cause i see many boxers getting low and dodging flurry of punches by moving their head. I didn't get any video of teaching this in TH-cam. I hope you'll help me by making a video about this.
Thank you for the knowledge, coach. I have a question: I understand that any punch can be thrown in any lane, but certain punches are more effective in their appropriate lanes; however, in sticking to the most effective punches per lane, would I be more predictable to my opponent? For example, my opponent might anticipate me throwing a cross and a hook when I am in my cross lane. If so is there a way to circumvent this?
Great thought! You are always playing a balancing act between being predictable and being reckless. At any given moment you must make a read on if it's appropriate to adhere to the system on play the meta.

Hi Coach, I have a question, although any commenters are also free to answer this! What are the other important factors that contribute to punch selection beside lanes? Right now I am drilling combinations on the outside like Jab > step left into cross lane > throw 2 down center line > throw 3 around guard. I also do variations where I feint, double up on the same side hand, hrow a single shot, or go for body. This leads to variations of 12, 123, 1223, and 1233 when stepping closed side after the jab. Any of the punches can target the body, or be feinted. You said to always go for the center line first. Should I ever mix it up and for example go for 32 instead of 23, continue jabbing , or throw in a 4 instead of 2 ? Are the feint, body, single, and double up variations enough to not become predictable?
You're thinking the right way. You should mix it up when the usual way is expected. You should also be playing with rhythm and expectations. Levels, feints, posture, and composure also play a role in shot selection 👌
Could you please explain what "centerline over shoulder" means? As well as "open side" and "closed side"? I feel like this video is very informative, but I need these info to understand it better. Thank you.
You mention "defend linear round" at about 5 minutes, which video do you go more into that? And, are you saying when you defend a straight punch expect the next one to be a round punch from the other side, generally speaking?
Beterbiev likes to punch in a looping fashion with his right hand that catches fighters in the back of the head . It seems like it’s the same pattern and all his fights
The understanding that from certain positions you can only be hit (and hit) with certain punches quickly and powerfully. And this should inform your decision making.
Beterbiev is a great fighter and there is a lot to learn from him but you can see that Smith is just on a completely different level. Technique-wise they are unmatched. Beterbiev has very good striking fundamentals, he is balanced and sits strong on his feet, properly engages his core muscles a lot. Smith's legs and especially feet and calves are almost non-existent in his muscle activation, those body parts on Smith just "follow along" the rest of his body and are not doing anything in his favor. When the camera shows their full bodies take a look at Smith's bottom vs. Beterbiev. This base is what allows all of that dominance to occur, this gives room for Bertebiev to execute on his tactics.
Artur Beterbiev is gonna get schooled by Bivol when they do fight. I think people are gonna be surprised how easily Bivol beats Beterbiev when it happens.

A really fun fight with contrasting styles! I can't wait to watch it play out!
I love Beterbiev but I agree. Bivol is too quick, in and out, good power, great defense, great lead hand.
It can be the last fight for Arthur. We cannot imagine with which energy he s coming...
Next generation: Bivol VS Benavidez
Not happening imo
Great fight breakdown of King Artur!
