i just ordered some of these baits and was watching videos and happened upon this video by chance , Great catch, Mark congrats , i hope i have the same luck , just awesome , memory for a lifetime .
Mustad grip n pin hooks are great for zman baits...haven't found 1 better...try using a light weighted mustad grip n pin 4/0 hook and fish a white 1 just under the surface like a spinnerbait.. gets smoked at times!
Thanks Joe, yeah I was using a gamakatsu 5/0 EWG no weight on the hook or bait. I needed to add a dab of super glue to keep the bait from sliding down. I am looking at picking up a hook with a keeper on it but the glue worked. I love the durability of the Zman baits. I lost a another big one a few minutes after that catch. I am going back for redemption. Hopefully she is still there. Thank for your support 👊
