Kris Diel i knew it was a type of bird syndrome was not sure about the first letter. i suffer from it too then😍 my only limit is space and sometimes money ( cos some parrots are really expensive and we dont have an option to adopt in my country cos no one abandons an expensive parrot, they sell it 😡)
Kris Diel for me tiels are hand (y) sized parrots. they are great beautiful and adorable. wow over 25 years for a tiel is super you really take good care of them and love them like me.

We're (my husband & I) down to only (LOL) seven now: 3-Cockatiels (brothers from the same clutch), 1-Painted Conure, 1-Nanday Conure, 1- Congo African Gray (CAG) & 1-Military Macaw. We never planed to have lots of birds, it just worked out that way. Luckily, we'd had the room when we needed it but it was a good thing we moved out of our rented condo and into our house eleven years ago. The most birds we had at any one time was 11 or 12 and the only reason that worked at all was because I owned my own business and worked from home.
My little tiel rarely ever talks, and only if she hears a bathroom door being opened or closed, or if she is sword fighting, or wants outta the cage. She rarely hears the bathroom door being open, she rarely swordfights, and I let my tiel outta the cage a lot so she really doesn't talk a lot.
I once had a parakeet who never learned to "talk" but she would imitate the sound of the refrigerator door perfectly. Ever time she did, the dog would come running. I don't think he liked her much...
