My grandparents lived in Sarasota and first saw the Ringling Home in the 70's and 80's, Loved seeing it here. would love to see it now the renos have been done, This is one of the top 5 historical homes. I saw it about 4 times as you said. their art collection is probably one of the finest in the country. They also had a Old Italian Opera Theatre, they brought back and rebuilt stone by stone. it is a spot many really should know more about. so great that you did a video on it!!

Nice to see a video from you that’s NOT another “Paid For By...” infomercial. Have been missing your great How-To-Do-It & “a day in my RV/motorcoach life” videos. This one fits that bill perfectly. Keep them coming!

Look at how many views this video got. Unfortunately google only pays on average $50 on 10,000 views. There is a very good chance that the money made from this video doesn't even cover my $35 admission cost to film this video. If it wasn't for the sponsored videos, I wouldn't have time to make these videos because I would have to get a real job.

@@RVingwithAndrewSteele Sure, gotta keep the lights on! But that low view count is because this vid had zero motorcoach tie-in and it was very low energy. Imagine if you'd instead pulled into the Ringling lot in one of those coaches Kyle tried to talk you into? Perhaps on your way between infomercial gigs, with a cute GF beside you? Do you think that view count might improve? It's a tried and true formula that ALWAYS works. The Gadget Guru comes to mind... Marketing 101 says figure out who your audience is then do videos for them. If that's only people who are looking to buy a Prevost Conversion, you're there. But I suspect allot more people who don't fit in that pidgin hole are watching. People like me who couldn't care less about new coaches but who love watching someone deal with the issues and travels that big coach owners face. With your old coach and the MT resort site, you were almost there. With a Class B, not so much. Still like your channel but only occasionally watch now since I'm happy with my coach as it sits. Get my drift?

Definitely one of my favorite videos! What an amazing exhibit! Breathtaking views, and that traveling train car is unbelievable! Amazing to think this luxury style travel was possible back then!
As you were walking through the mansion, I almost felt like I was there, and transported back in time. There are times where I really wish I lived back in this era! You can almost imagine the mansion filled with people and all the events that took place there.
So cool! I've just added this to my bucket list!
Thanks for sharing! I'd give it 10 👍

Something I have wondered about : Has Andrew seen luxury rv's that owners are hoarders ... TLC could do some shows about this ... After all, can't buy cla$$, but some seem to try ...

You can't, at least not anymore. Animal rights and dwindling crowds have all but ended the entire idea of the traveling circuses these days.

Golly Andrew , Glad that you took the time to Drive down from Bradenton to Sarasota . Whenever we head down to Sanibel / Captiva / Ft. Myers we stop at the Ca'D'zan .The exhibits are always changing , John and Mabel were voracious collectors . My wife tells me it actually is more beautiful , interesting than Hurst Castle . It is quite staggering ... Glad you took it in .
