I love your nursery tours. Incredible amount of lovely cacti at amazing prices. So wish we had something like that here in Virginia but we get too cold. It was 18 degrees this morning and all of my cactus are inside under grow lights. Thanks for the time and effort you put into these videos.
almost two years ago I ordered some seeds from Pheonix Desert Nursery on a whim. From my order, I still have opuntia, myrtillo, and mammillaria seedlings still alive and well. It is great to get a chance to finally see the nursery and get an idea what it is like. They have soo many choices that I did imagine a big garden , but I never imagined that many plants! Thank you so much!
@@cookiescactiConnecticut has a great active cactus succulent society. I grow cold hardy types and sell at their spring show and sale. Grown year round in my back yard. Echinocereus, Coryphantha, Pediocactus, Escobaria, Opuntia, and others. All hardy down to 0 degrees F
I recently purchased a few(hundred) seeds from there. Some sprouted in 3 days under grow lights. I still have a bunch of cacti I grew in 2019 from there. Thanks for the tour.Great to see the place. I'd go broke if I was there n not have gas money to get it all home.🌵💚
Always love your videos! I just arrived in phoenix and your contents gave me ideas what nursery to visit here in AZ. Thank you. I really appreciate your work.
Reading your message made my night! I hope you have a ton of fun here and maybe pick up a few treasures. I've compiled a list of nurseries I know about here, many we've visited on this channel: www.cookiescacti.com/nurseries
Great video, as always. Great for the local landscapers, just as you mentioned. For the other collectors it's always a pleasure to hear your voice and to know your opinion. P.S. 1/3 of my highly collectible plants came from Arid lands greenhouses. I keep watching all Arizona located shopping video in hope to find an equally great seller. Thank you for sharing your searches with me. It is greatly appreciated. P.P.S. How is Cookie? ❤❤❤
Fortunately, I am 5,270.5 miles away from that wonderful, surprisingly reasonably priced, place of perpetual temptation. My three, two inch high, Saguaro better get their act together. I need to lie down, the excitement is too much.
😂😂😂 perpetual temptation is the best way to put it! That is so cool that you have Saguaro growing 5270.5 miles away from their habitat - simply amazing!

This is so cool that you get to see the nursery through my video. I re-read your comment several times because it gives me the warm and fuzzies ☺️
I want those $8 tephrocactus!!
I think they sell cuttings on their website!
I did not know tephrocactuse could be so cool.
Simply amazing.....In Connecticut, I'm lucky if a nursery has 1 or 2 tables of cactus or succulents for sale.
I would love to see those 1 or 2 tables of cactus and succulents in Connecticut! I'm hoping someday I can see for myself ☺️

I used to go there all the time when I lived in Phoenix. Nursery looks good I used to know the owner he was super cool.
That's awesome! He is such a nice guy.

Oh, can't wait to visit this place. I see a bunch of cacti I want.
Yessssssss!
Boy you have sure learned your plants! They are marked well there unlike many nurseries. Thanks for the tour. I’ve never been there in 43 years here.
This just means there are endless discoveries to be made, Nancy, which is the most wonderful thing 💚
Another great video, thanks Jenny. If AZ runs out of opuntia I guess we know where to find them!
😂😂😂 right?? They have so many opuntia!

Yayyy! I'm so glad you enjoyed this nursery tour, Maggie! You'll have to let me know your experience when you go next year.

Ahhh I go there all the time…haven’t been in a while. This is my cue to go lol…
Some of those $8 gallons would be so great for graft stock. The little ones at the big box stores are like $6!
This is an excellent idea!
They mostly water by helicopter right Jenny?
@@joshualennox3599 😂😂😂 that solves the watering mystery
Awesome video this place has amazing prices! The cactus at 6:49 looks like Gymnocalycium spegazzinii v. armatum to me
Thank you for the ID! This was a fun one to visit for sure
