Make a cabinet beside the counter that hides the cord and has a pull out shelf/cupboard for the garbage to go in. The back of the cabinet can be open to accommodate the plug and cords and the coffee maker can sit on the top of the cabinet. Having the garbage can in an enclosed cabinet with a drawer for pulling it out when you want it keeps the cats out of the garbage and looks nicer.

Ladies a mpving tip, dresers, remove the drawers. Then load the frame of the dresser. Add the drawers back into the frame already in the moving truck. At the new location reverse the operation. This makes moving dressers so much lighter and easier.
One of the first things i purchase when i move into a house is good enrtry way rugs at each door (inside & out)to keep dirt from being tracked in. It really helps. Been watching from day one, and its pretty exciting to see you moving in! Merry Christmas to you all!
I've watched your dad's channel for some time and was here when you shot your first video. I could tell at Thanksgiving, move-in day by Christmas was within reach. I've been watching all month hoping you would make it. Congratulations! It will be much easier to continue with the remaining tasks to finish dealing with the basement, house siding, sidewalks, foundation plantings, back patio, and beyond now that you are living there. Hello Abby & Trudy from our New Hampshire 🚜 farm. Being a country girl myself, consider asking Jay to re-glue and tighten those dining room chairs. The style of that set goes nicely with your house and the size is good. Regarding your coffee maker situation, I have a soft pot holder under my single Kurig coffee maker. I realize that that things probably won't slide easily on plywood. I also set my Kitchen Aid stand mixer on a plastic tray in order to slide it. Another viewer suggested making a cabinet at the end of your counter So you have some good ideas to play with. Love your open concept kitchen! Put the coffee maker on a towel and it will slide out easier. That’s what i did with my mixer and it made a big difference.
