7. Why is it important to base our teaching on the Scriptures? Because it is right and pleasing to God. It is important for us to realize that the message we preach *must be based* entirely on God's Word. BUT *woe to us if we* distort and falsify texts, trying to build teachings on verses from the Bible taken out of context. *Woe to us if,* seeing mistakes in the teachings and in the leadership of the Organization, we do not try to tell the elders about it. *They ARE OBLIGED* - to send all controversial issues to the branch, and not to hush up and take note of the co-believer (stupidly following the instructions), who asks "Wrong questions" (we recall how Jesus and the apostles acted - Acts.15:1-15). And *woe to us if we do not try* to test according to the Scriptures what the responsible brothers teach us from the stage (Acts.17:11) Otherwise, the repetition of the 1st century CANNOT be AVOIDED (Luke 23:18,21) Unfortunately, Scripture predicts that before the end of the age of the devil, *unscrupulous pastors will enter the Temple of Jehovah* - Paul calls them the lawless, and Revelation "fallen stars" (2 Thess 2:2-4; Rev 8:10,11; 9:1 and compare 1:20). *The lawless one in the Temple equates himself and his word* to Jehovah and will demand an oath of allegiance to himself (compare 14 interview questions, for those who want to be baptized - book *"Organized", Appendix - Part 1, page 188* - compare Acts 5:29). The lawless one *will refuse to admit and correct mistakes* in the teachings and his leadership (about 1914, about the appointment of a faithful slave in 1919, about the fact that we will survive Armageddon, about "Babylon the Great", about the texts from the chapters of Revelation 9,11,13,17 ch.- *it ALL needs revision,* about the ban on "a donation box for those in need", about the "meaning of God-pleasing sacrifices", mistakes and fraud in the NWT, about suppressing mistakes in the history of the Organization *and shifting the blame to "simple sheep"*, etc.). The lawless one will "beat his companions" - other anointed ones (Mat.24:48,49 - some, at closed committees on false charges, will be expelled from the assembly, and declaring apostates, Rev.11:1,2; for how to conduct court in the assembly, see Mt.18:15-17, James 5:14, 2 Thess.3:14,15, compare Acts.15:1-15 and 1 Cor.11:19) How can I serve Jehovah today in my congregation with the lawless one?? - a separate topic.
