WERO, PDO, and WhyEm's Bloodlust makes for very realistic gunfights that truly change the way the game is played. Makes me wish there was an all in one mod just to further simplify the already simple install process.

Yeah I wasn’t a great fan of it though. It does add a lot of configuration which is cool, but the muzzle smoke and stuff just feels too much. Doesn’t make the shooting feel intense and can’t flex skill like with maverick.

5 seconds results in more stumble and NPCs fall on their faces and stand there longer. Essentially they get into the euphoria loop for a fixed 5 seconds before they’re back to normal animation. I prefer default but 5 is fun to experiment with and test ragdolls
Great showcase! Any chance you could give me your full and/or favorite mod list? Also why not use Rampage's Trainer accuracy modifier instead of Maverick's no sway/spread mod? Don't get me wrong, I like Maverick's mods but Rampage Trainer seems to be much simpler to apply or install. Less conflicts too.
thanks! off the top of my head my main mods are Maverick, WERO, Whyems RDOFF edition, Red Dead Offline, Bandit Hideouts (recent favourite), cut dialogue enhanced (another great one), remove Screen Effects, fast paced combat, immersive scenarios. I'm working on an updated top mod showcase video but no promises yet on the release yet; hopefully soon though. with the rampage accuracy modifier, i cant tell what parameters it changes and do need to try it again but it felt a bit too accurate, almost magnetising. maybe it was in my head though, im used to maverick's weapons and somehow the installation is running perfectly with other mods. also no other weapon-based mods are really my type, focusing on too much realism when i prefer pure combat and gunplay lol. different strokes I suppose.
@@Jupa Yeah, I know how to make them compatible. I'm just picky about my mods. There are modifications in Maverick Weapon mods that I don't personally like. And even though there is Tunables Add-On mod to revert those changes, the author either forgot or simply didn't include the vanilla parameters or values for say damage or accuracy or reload speed in the instructions. So I'm a bit lost lol. I guess I'll just stick to just the no spread/sway standalone version. By the way where do I get that fast-paced combat mod? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
A lot of fun, especially the falling ragdolls, can’t get enough of those 😂 IMO I highly doubt there is an RDR1 remake on the way. Places like GTAForums and Twitter perpetuate so many ideas as gospel, and sensible discussion gets muddy and rumours take over facts - and the facts are showing that we might be looking at a rerelease but not a remake. Which is fine so long as the PlayStation and PC player base get to be able to experience RDR1.
I'm always impressed with how good your game graphics look. I have almost all of my graphic settings cranked up to max by I only play in 1920x1080 resolution so my game doesn't look as good as this. Is playing in 4K resolution the only way to have the textures to look as good as this?
much appreciated man! I'd have to definitely say yes, 4K resolution seems about the only way to get good textures with perfect anti-aliasing. my monitor isn't a 4k though. So with rdr2 i use nvidia's dynamic super resolution to enable 4K and tweak settingfs (DLSS set on auto). if youre on 1080p its worth a shot to scale it to 1440p and tweak the settings down a notch and itll should look better. I also record and upload videos at 150mbps because of youtube compression. it makes recording footage really memory heavy, and this video was like 14gb itself. but helps massively with quality. hope that helps
@@Jupa I would love to try higher resolutions. I use an amd gpu and the equivalent of nvidia's DSR in amd is virtual super resolution (VSR), but even when I turned that on, 1440p and higher resolutions does not appear on my game settings so that was unfortunate.
to be honest, to me it doesn't look as good as the stock physics included in the game . Can someone explain the difference I am not able to see? I have nearly 250 hours in the game and always pay close attention to this kind of stuff.
Well for one, vanilla RDR 2 isn't completely procedural. It's canned (pre-made) animations for the most part, including the death poses. The physics file was left empty when released. This means that NPC's (and Arthur) do not stumble or react to the environment, they just trigger an animation. Here all of the NPC's have a unique reaction. The physics dictate how their bodies react, depending on where and how theyve been shot and with what weapon.
sorry about that it's hard to catch up with comments but i try to reach as many as i can lol if i dont respond feel free to ask again incase i miss it the version of WERO I use is v3.3, default version. I don't use PDO personally, for lower health i use '9ines health rebalance' i think it's called.

Yea, i keep facking it up somehow. Ether people get up without a head or I can't dismember anyone first shot. Same goes for mavrieks cataloged install

Download Lenny’s mod loader, and put one of the two files in the lml folder that Lenny’s mod loader gives you. Heavy bodies is probably better

That depends on what resolution you plan to play it in. You're still better off building your own PC.
