Great narration and realistic video. Keep telling us how it really is on trail. On my bucket list. Doing JMT with my hearing service dog next month but TRT high on list! You will never regret a single day in trail. Dr Bob
Thanks for the video. I’m looking forward to following your series. I start in a couple days, so this is great info on the latest trail conditions. Also, I like the shortened version of the new name, “Indy”. It’s a cool story and really a big compliment to you as a hiker. Happy trails.
I vote Bear Watcher. I think the first name, in this case, is the best. Your tapping of the trail markers could also be a worthy trail name. Something like 2 Tap or Tapper.
@@terryhikes yep! I’m from Indianapolis! Go to the 500 every year. How fun that you work there. And I know this might upset some people but the more I think about it I think I’m changing my name. I’ve discussed it with one of my hiking partners from the CT who has his trip crown and people do change their names but it’s also a personal decision.
Heather, I really enjoy your videos until I get to the parts where you tap the trail markers. You may not realize it but that is a form of vandalism. If everyone taps them with the carbide tips of their poles, before too long they will not be legible, and the volunteers who help maintain the trails will have to replace them$. Please keep up the great videos, but stop tappiing the trail markers.
Nothing like some cruisy miles on the TRT. Looks awesome

@@Glazehikes Best of luck on your hike and happy you’ve enjoyed my videos! And I agree with the name. ;-) Happy Trails!
Indy 500 is a cool trail name but it depends on how attached you are to your former name Bear Watcher aka BDub. Happy Trails!
I can’t go with Bear Watcher or BDub…Tapper is my preferred name. 😊
@@hankremer6606I thought Tapper also!
@@hankremer6606 Happy Trails Tapper!
@@betsybarbera9806 you will all find out shortly what I chose ;-)
INDY 500 is a cool name ❤🤍💙
22 miles is excellent 😊
Or INDY for short
@@suemoore1965 thank you so much!
I like Indy (but I also like Tapper as suggested from the CT videos).

@@carolinegries9596 😘 I’ve officially decided it’s Indy 500. You’ve heard it here first.
Racing fans usually just refer to the Indianapolis 500 as “Indy”.
well, I'm partial to Indy 500 as I work there! That's a pretty cool trail name. You're from the area?

Tapper - if you keep tapping.
That name can stick better with your youtube channel
