Was looking for this comment… Voracity(third Overlord opening) is well deserved to be ranked top 20 of all time, also Reincarnated as a slimes opening should have gotten on this list somewhere
Man i got so many goosebumps hearing some of the op of the old animes that I used to watch back in the days
i didnt watch anime for years and gawd damnnn, i miss those times ^^ death note, tokyo ghoul, code geass, no game no life, attack on titan, hajime no ippo and vinland saga gave that feeling man idk how to describe it~
I haven't watched anime on the regular in 7-8 years now, so it warms my heart to see so many of the ones I recognise from back in the day make this list. Especially Baccano - that OP is iconic and so many people sleep on it or dont realise Durarara's OP 1 is based on it. Nice to see a real mix of genres too 😊

Anyway, another great video! A lot of surprising additions here. I'm glad we share the same appreciation for Mahi, ODDTAXI, and Kaibutsu, and I'm glad to see them so high in the list. It was also really interesting to see how much your tastes for certain songs increased or decreased. 👌

True i was about to comment before this video started its perssonal taste but when i saw crossing fields at 71 i totally forgot that this was personal list and i screamed out WHAT i think my brain stopped working i would trash talk this but then i saw this comment and it brought me back that this was perssonal prefrence not everyones list

Love Sakamichi no Apollon's placement. The op is so perfect. Also like Bakuman barely making the list as it used to be my favourite at one point.
Got to the top 5 thinking "They must not have seen Jojo then", and fully expecting Gurenge to be number 1 when I got to it. Hearing Bloody Stream legit made me pop off
Bloody Stream being number 1 is good, but that means Gurenge wasn't even on the chart, which is absolutely atrocious because there are other songs from demon slayer here, so they definitely watched it.

Black Clover opening 10 still remains the best opening so far imo. Jojo definitely top 5 as well but that Black Catcher song is darn too good and the visuals/ use of a black and grey pallet of that BC opening still gives me chills

Edit: I seriously recommend it. It is a seinen which contains lots of 18+ stuff but it is compulsory to tell the story. It's about harsh reality and friendships. You could never find anime with this amount of bro aura

there are some pretty decent ones here like 91 days, durarara and papermoon. havent heard that one in a while and also the full version of darker than black ryuessei is fucking sick. speaking of full versions have you seen any of the the monogataries? owarimonogatari opeing 2 full version of mathemagics is fucking awesome and my favourite anime opening of all time. the instrumentals are really fucking cool

god, this is an impeccable list. I don't agree with every choice, and some of my favorites aren't on here, but the curation of it all stands out, and the consistent dedication to OPs that have a good flow, and are both musically and artistically interesting makes it feel less...I dunno if biased is the right word, but maybe "authoritative". like most of these type of videos are just people wracking their brain for every OP they have vaguely positive memories about.

Many OP GOD!!!! Between classics and moderns, it is a pleasure to see openings such as Dororo, Viland Saga, Dr.stone, Ousama Raking, Odd taxi, Bishounen tanteiden, Haikyuu, Your April, Shigeki no kyojin, Cowboy Bebop, Noragami, Ao no exorcist, Norogami, Dead Parade, Kekkai sensen, Fullmetal Alchemist etc. I would continue but it is clear that most of them are very GOD Openings !!!!!! although if you were going to play me with very current openings, by law the op3 of Mushoku tensei should be there since I consider its lyrics and rhythm to be very beautiful, I only say that although the first three Ops of Mushoku are very beautiful in rhythm, lyrics and sound, the other two of the anime meh... presentable I would say, also many consider that it does not have an op that represents the anime as such but I consider it very innovative referring to the theme that has us getting used to the openings to see part of its world with a frequency Beautiful and calming sound is incredible but if I would stay with an Op of Mushoku tensei it would be 3, it is my opinion outside of that you know of tastes as always good video 👍😎🔥🤝

Wow really happy to see World Trigger’s fourth OP Forces at 16:01. WT super underrated so I’m glad it got some love. Although Black Catcher at 43, Shinzo Wo Sagageyo at 33, Inferno at 30 unravel at 26, Cha La at 25 and A Cruel Angel’s Thesis at 21.are all way way to low, especially when Seven Deadly Sins is at 13 and it’s not even the best SDS OP, that would be Hikari Are. Also, missing one of the four Shaman King OPs and one of the two The Promised Neverland OPs.
would've placed Vinland Saga's first OP higher myself, but seeing Golden Kamuy at such a respectable 17th place does my heart good.

No. 41 is, in my opinion, the most underrated anime opening of all time
I have so much respect for you like durara op 2 is so under appreciated
The top 5 actually fell apart. Sasageyo is only 33 now after being top 3 for the longest time and Sakura mistuki fell to 15. At least Rabu no melody, Bloody Stream and complication stayed. And my Favorite is now top 3.
