Originally telecast on May 23, 1960, the last episode of the season.
Mac Benoff wrote this one as "S.L. Bershad" and "A.J. Jacobs" {Danny and Sheldon's real names}. Like Frank Tarloff, he was blacklisted by the entertainment industry for his politicial views, several years before. Mac was also one of Danny's original writers on the series- and Thomas felt the industry wasn't being fair to anyone trying to earn a decent living under polarizing cicrumstances. So he occasionally accepted scripts from him under a pseudonym. Sadly, Benoff died of a heart attack in 1972, at the age of 57.
The "flashback" is from the episode "The Orphan Asylum" [Season 5, Episode 25/March 21, 1957], which was one of Danny's personal favorites.

Angela Cartwright is Linda on the show. I remember her well in "The Sound of Music". Almost forgot about "Lost in Space".
Does anyone know what season and episode that Angela took over as Linda??Another child actress appeared in the episode that Kathy brought Linda to meet Terry and Rusty.
