Did you know spaniards encountered and documented Polynesians trading and provisioning on west coast. Polynesians travelled to Northern Inuits to Chile.
A few Things brought over were Chickens,Sweet potatoes, medicine plants and medicinal mineral clay soils found in Hawaii back when Hawaii was known as Mu 4,000 years ago.

@@mrcool2723 wow never knew dat. Just as sophisticated as when the hawaiians described pele and her sister actual being science on how they knew lava ran through cracks and knew of lava existed before they even encountered it. I didnt know the old pele stories describes the lava traveling from island to island

as a hawaiian, i think the developers should think twice about using the land to build. it hurts watching the islands get covered with buildings. might as well call the islands mini LA's if you like that. preserve hawaiian land, its precious and almost gone. malama the aina

@jasonapotts ha'ole is means without breath. to ancient hawaiians breath was life. they called white missionaries ha'oles because they hadn't seen people of european descent before and their light colored skin made it look as though they were dead. It's like calling some one a zombie. if that's not derogatory, i don't know what is. A common misconception is that ha'ole means foreigner. But that's just to make white people feel better.
