Bad managers are the real incompetent and they should be placed in pip, good and highly skilled managers make team more productive and progressive and never put employees on pip

@@RajendraShewale-sc1nm if u see the symptoms of pip better you search for other companies and if your team is cooperative u better face pip based on ur company rules it will reflect on certificate mostly they won't mention in certificate but we can't say anything it is like 50 50 chances
Same thing happening with me. I join a project on April 24th. After all access i started work may first week. With in one month they put me PIP. My performance is not bad at all. Im little slow as project flow is new to me
PIP is actually a mindset of manager , the only solution is to get another good job . what's the use of staying with such non supportive , non understanding manager ?
keep learning during pip...prepare notes which will help in interview and in your furture journey...Learn and improve in technical and soft skill..Due to bad manager anyone can face this situation in life but I would say dont loose hope keep smiling and do your best every day...

I got into pip. Last review will tell in Monday. So, hr said that the lwd will be the last week review day if pip is not completed. My team lead already saying negative thing now. But she didn’t said negative in last few week reviews. Last three week reviews are good. But now she says that those comments are not positive and telling me that I am not good enough. So, I don’t understand anything. I put efforts to complete the tasks, now one task left, now they are saying these thing. I am worried that what situations arise due to this.
When company put on PIP and completion of PIP all assign ticket was completed then manager say you did not meet SLA but these ticket assign to other colleague for 15-20 days later assign to PIP employee and later terminate on performance what en employee can do if company terminate on performance.
One of my frnds working in tcs , experienced resource , asked for a release just joined within 3 months since he got another project offer with onsite omponent in different technology (where he already has experience in it). But the pm or onsite manager not releasing threatening him saying that we will you put in PIP and you will be terminated. He already raised concern that he has health issue and also informed about the offer . Can they really put him in PIP due to poor performance.
What if i have a bond and recieved pip because i have complained on my manager because of sexual harrasment, now how do i resign? What do i do in this case?

@@tuhinspix They were freshers, happened during anniversary appraisal. I left TCS in the end of September. In my 1 year at TCS I saw close to 6 PIPs, 4 from the same manager so it could be manager specific as well. If i recollect correctly they were all freshers and reason was performance. One candidate was asked to resign right after PIP ended and she did not even serve notice, was asked to leave the next day. Another candidate resigned herself when PIP was initiated. To be honest though, they indeed were not upto the mark. The manager could have maybe spent time training them but I guess no one really cares about that aspect anymore.
