Classic toxic video game design that's hard to avoid. Feels cool or really fun to play as but absolutely awful to play against. That being said her w has a huge window to take advantage of. I just thing her range and auto damage is kind of ridiculous

dont know if you realise it later in the video but killing that boss gives the team a one-time GA that whisks you back to spawn on "death" and only grants the enemy 100g for the "kill". theres a bug rn where if kench eats an enemy and gets sent "killed" and TPd back to spawn with the buff he brings them back to spawn with him
There are 2 types of that epic one the revive that happen when the game has low kills And the other when its blood bath and it makes all epic monsters buff on you stronger by 25%
Imo it totally depend on your teams position, if your team is in between you and ornn then you should reflect the first part of it but if your in front then you reflect the send back knock up version. Cause if your behind your team then they will get knocked up before it gets to your W

She looks pretty fun, kinda like an artil/battle mage to some extent and I think thats a neat concept. Just hope her pickrate settles down after release lol
Yeah it does, and that's what the execution threshold shows. The game isn't gonna show something as executable if it isn't, you just need to apply another stack.
And it's terrible. Aimed abilities are already harder to hit tathen point and click ones, and now you're additionally punshed for using them when playing against her

blackfire into cdr boots with something like horizon focus might be good because spamming haste to get q and w up as fast as possible seems to be the strongest play for her rn imo
You dont just build those things. You go liandry if youre facing a comp thats tanky. You never just go one build fits all on any champ in this game, if you do then thats absolutely hurting your winrate
Rush Rilays? Her E has a Root in center and the edge area already has a 30% slow so rilays doesn't do anything. Her ult is a single instance burst abillity so no. Her Q deals damage over like 0.5s, which is a 1.5s with rilais. But comparing to brand that can apply a 5s slow with any of his abillities, and whose using E with rilay's vastly increases his chances of landing Q and W, why would she even used it? She always goes E->Q-->R optimally. Her R is automatic, her Q is easy as fuck to land and her E is THE CC abillity, where does rilais fit in this? Liandry's is OK vs tanks, but again, she's not Swain or Brand, none of her abillities last long enough to apply a good chunk of Liandry's DoT with a single abillity or rotation. Void Staff definitely seems like a must as it synergizes with her passive's execute, but obviously not a first item. Blackfire Torch seems ok on her, the DoT is not as optimized as on Brand, but Mana+CDR makes it more fitting than Liandry's for general purposes.

Pekin I think the ult damage scales with the total number of stacks you have. Might have to double check but I swear in the fights where you were hitting multiple people the number on the icon was going up very quickyl
Haven't watched the full video, but since she has is partly a mage version of kalista, how would liandrys feel with that execute? Would the burn keep the stacks on the enemy until you have enough time to re apply more stacks?
I think the most reminiscant champ would be Seraphine, but wth every spell charged. Q a long range circle, E a wide root, w a defensve cooldown. And the autoattack weaving is also similar to Seraphine's
I've been going around a ton of Mel videos talking about this but after my testing on Pbe I've noticed her ult tells you when she can execute someone. (The icon above them changes visible so always pay attention to that) I have seen one instance were this wasn't the case but I dunno if it was burn dmg or maybe the ult not accounting for magic pen or smth?
Peking saying "I'm normally the highest elo in this, so we can't rely entirely on just me being good" (Paraphrase) Is why I respect him far more than people like Zwag.

Wow, her W is 30 seconds?? Warwick W at max rank is more than that. Varus W is longer than that. The devs thought those abilities are better than THIS? It's barely even longer than windwall and it's literally twice as good as windwall since it negates their ability and gives you an ability of equal strength. And it's AUTO AIMED. I was expecting like 45-60s for it if they wanted to be nice, and realistically I would have hoped like 70. That's insane she's gonna be perma banned everywhere even pro. Hopefully it's so low so people can use it a lot in the PBE to test bugs, because getting an ability this strong back every wave during laning phase is crazy.
you're just gonna ignore the fact that Warwick W's cooldown refreshes twice as fast when there's not bleeding enemy? Or that Varus W can fully refresh if he gets 3 stacks of his W passive? This comparison is extremely dumb lol especially when you're not considering the rest of the champions' kits along with that ability.
I get what you’re saying but ability strength is tied to power budget too, like Mel can have a shorter cooldown on a stronger ability if it takes up more of her power budget Whether her total power budget is too much is debatable but you can’t in a vacuum go “this ability is unfair because it’s a shorter cooldown than these weaker abilities” cause then idk how do you feel about something like Jax E’s cooldown
She doesn't have mobility. It will only be good in ranged matchups and even then she has to play quite close and must weave autos to be successful which will be an increasing issue as the game goes on. Think Sivir but lacking the tools to assist spacing. This is a weird mix between battle mage, control, and burst and tbh I'm not really sure the kit actually comes together... But that's alright if she releases relatively weak.
I'd say it compares better to Fiora's riposte, it only protects her and blocks all damage with a conditional secondary effect. It also has a longer cooldown than riposte (and should be) because it is more powerful. I do think that the over 100% damage with enough AP is a terrible idea though, considering the utility you get from stealing CC.
The issue I have with the passive, is it is SO easy to get one person super fed just by playing. Supports and jungles can't steal kills on ganks, in 5v5s she's going to ult and last tap so many people. It's just going to be gross w/o trying.

definitely low, once people in higher elo learn to treat her like yasuo/samira and either hold their important skillshots for when she has no w, or bait her into using w early by faking an engage, she will just be the same as any other mage but with less utility

Liandry's doesnt stack for individuals. It only stacks per user 1 person hitting 5 spells is 1 stack of liandrys 5 people hitting 1 spell each is 5 stacks of liandrys
The kit itself is pretty crazy. The w mechanic is very interesting. But it seems like new champs never have mana problems. Just spam constantly and always full mana.
I think this might be because of PoM, when pekin is killing and poking as much as he is, the mana regen goes crazy. Could still be a problem for Mel idk

Hear me out, I think she could be well suited for support, she would play like a mix of morgana and swain, and while she may not be as tanky, she can at least "tank" skillshots/cc with her w, turning the tables on the enemy supports engage, or you can just be more aggressive. Her w also counters most adcs and their ults i would say.. She's probably best mid, but I think her potential for support is great.
@@baris9031 - It's useful depending on the situation. In lone situations sure, but he can't grab you off the tower for instance, or hexflash a wall and separate you from your team. So that's nice.
I feel like she'd be pretty decent as a support, max e first for the increased root duration. Reflect possibly troll depending on what you're up against though..

I think each person gets damage based on the stacks they have on them because it's a debut on them so that is probably to calculate that easier.

Top: shes range fast with execute
Jungle: she has execute on monsters, long range cc and cc her is not going to work
Mid: she can either burst with R or liandry for tanks
Bot: she scales well with range and cdr
Support: she can cc and reflect cc back
Basically she can go freaking anywhere if you one champ her
I feel like there should be a range on the R.
I can't wait to W-flash into a skillshot intended for a team mate. Very very op.
Hear me out, I think she could be well suited for support, she would play like a mix of morgana and swain, and while she may not be as tanky, she can at least "tank" skillshots/cc with her w, turning the tables on the enemy supports engage, or you can just be more aggressive. Her w also counters most adcs and their ults i would say.. She's probably best mid, but I think her potential for support is great.

@@baris9031 - It's useful depending on the situation. In lone situations sure, but he can't grab you off the tower for instance, or hexflash a wall and separate you from your team. So that's nice.

I feel like she'd be pretty decent as a support, max e first for the increased root duration. Reflect possibly troll depending on what you're up against though..
