Question? Having basic skills in web development. Does this help you to understand and how to create mobile apps?

Hi Paul, I had a question? I've been learning JavaScript, html, CSS and PHP for full stack for close to 1 year now. I would like to try and create as a hobby a mobile App to see if I would like Mobile App development instead of Web Development. Would you recommend I just use React Native or go straight into Swift for mobile development? I am just trying to figure out how much of a learning curve it would be for me to jump into the X-Code ecosystem? Deep down I like web development but originally before I started web development, I always wanted to actually try out mobile with iOS. After 8 months of learning web development, I still feel that urge to learn mobile development. Is it harder to find an iOS developer job? Also, since I already have a good understanding of programming fundamentals including OOP. The path to becoming an iOS developer, is this path harder than becoming a web developer? What should I consider if I ever decided to go down this path? Thank you, Paul, for reading my long rant.
