No one is denying the role of the Kuki militants and the illegal immigrants in fomenting violence but how can the CM be so shameless? If Indian government wanted, this conflict wouldn't have lasted a week. But the Biren sarkar didn't put any pressure on the centre. The PM still refuses to come to Manipur in spite of the conflict reaching its 20th month. Did the CM not parrot the PM and HM's line that things were getting back to normal? If he has an ounce of decency, he will resign and give the reins to someone more competent and who is not scared of losing favour in the eyes of the centre.
