Listened to this in a park yesterday morning, snowing over here in the uk, 42 mins in it got quiet enough for me to notice the sound of the birds from outside my headphones. I have alexithymia so I find it hard connecting with my emotions, but that moment, whatever that feeling was, it's not one I'll forget. Thank you Patty
I have some pretty severe anxiety and this album gives me relief in a way that few things can. From the bottom of my heart thank you, thank you, thank you
I'm late to this album, but I just wanted to say thanks for all the beautiful music, genuinely no clue how Patricia manages to make so much quality stuff, but I love it.
this feels like looking up from your book/phone/notebook and your in a ghibli movie, and just calmly looking around from where you sit as the worlds slowly moves around you
Crocus 2 reminds me of listening to resonances of all the fifth on the Steinway grandpiano at home. It's such a mystical interval when you stack it... like a canvas for our musical fantasy.
@@福白汪 Indeed. I used to have fun setting up resonances with the middle pedal (which is like an awesome chord sustain pedal) and then hitting the bass keys quickly to get this amazing reverb.
I'm listening to the first track and this feel good to listen to. I feel like I've just like reached a good goal and accomplished what I wanted to, but there's a hint of more needing to be done. Great album.
I finally listened to it. Also including a couple of times during my home exam. Listening to this during the morning while sitting outside and taking a little walk was nice. It's getting colder tho.
It's from 1961 Italian film Accattone, around the 40 minute mark. I can't share what it's saying without TH-cam taking the comment down, so you're going to have to find a translation yourself to figure that out.
You say this should be listened at dawn, but how long before/after sunrise should it be started? Is there a specific moment in the album at which the sun should first be seen, or is it just a general dawn time album? Good work by the way, only listened to Crocus 1 so far and its absolutely beautiful
Why is this copyright-claimed by WMG to be the Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 when it clearly isn't. How is that remotely acceptable. People have lost all decency.

OF SUCH QUALITY
Do anything as often as she does and you'll amass a lot of skill in a shorter period of time than folk would expect
Could not have been uploaded at a more perfect time. Patricia Taxxon doesn't miss.

Been studying for exams so I think I've listened to this album 100 times by now. Love your ambient albums.

I believe this is another entry on the Cicada/Astral series
Can't wait to listen to this.

I’m in awe
This is great and you are great.
Idea: make a video that's either a video essay or an album, but make it impossible to tell which one it is for the first 15 or so minutes
dont mind.me crying its all good
What a calm day over the sea.
This is lovely. It reminds me strongly of Thomas Newman's vibe, particularly in Revolutionary Road, Finding Nemo, and Meet Joe Black.
Until track 3, when it becomes something entirely different and still ridiculously lovely. It reminds me of my favorite tracks from Rainbow Road.
I found you in Jan Misali's video! Your music is lovely, im not great at english but it feels like walking peacefuly in an oniric world, great job :)
these sort of make me think of Made In Abyss
I am absolutely in love
Perfect for a rainy day
Love how the fith track in every CACA album samples someone just talking. Exited to see what you use in the dusk album.
Oh nice

Sad that I have to wait until tomorrow to listen to this. Will listen to at dawn tho
Does anyone know the audio used in Crocus 5? It really intrigues me what it's about.

Patricia Taxxon, you are making all of us look bad, what with you being like 12 and releasing 20 albums a year!
i'm 21, not 12
@@Patricia_Taxxon I know! It's a joke: you are much younger than me, and I'm totally in awe of your talent.
