I am still in Mindanao, Philippines least visited island. Crishel and her family invited me to join a birthday party here in the province. We will have some fresh grilled food, some drinks, a birthday cake and spend the day at a public pool, a beautiful location. What an amazing way to enjoy life in a village. Yeah, you are right, Ken, this village looks similar to villages/kampung in rural Malaysia and Thailand. Great commentary and insights into the village life as lived by Crishel. What always amazes me about Crishel is she travels around Asia and is just as comfortable in big cities like Phnom Penh. Yet, comes home to her village life and fits right back in. An amazing woman and with a beautiful daughter, Sophia, who she was carrying for a large part of this video. Sophia weighs a quarter of Crishel 's weight. That makes Crishel a small but strong woman!😊

Wow, we have the same belief about that tree on Guam. Its called Taotaomona Tree because it means people from before (spirits). I also think these are similar words we have in common. (Tao & Muna)

Same here in Malaysia. We called it Pokok Ara (Ara Tree). Usually spirits or ghosts like Pontianak (Asian Vampire), Langsuir(Another type of Vampire) and Hantu Tinggi (Tall Ghost) resides around the tree.

hello Ken, this is Till in Phuket again, thks a lot for that nice episode, the rural villages there look very simular to Thailand, friendly people and simple, easy life. Thanks for showing Ken, greetings from Till in phuket
The best ingredient for grill the seafood is : Natural Spice, like : Ginger, garlic, turmeric, red chilli, you had to grind all untill soft then boil with coconut milk, give 1piece lemon grass and turmeric leaf then put it on the fish/ squid you want to grill, if you wanna taste it lil sweet, you can drop some black soy souce ( sweet kecap in Indonesia) drop also some lemon lime / musk lime to add the taste & good smell.
DONT USE INSTANT SPICES not health, and not delicious !! Learn from West Sumatera people how to cook delicious food 👍👍🤩
They had created Beef Rendang as the most delicious food in the world 👍👍🥰

I don't understand how you can call Mindanao the least visited island,anytime I have been in Mindanao there have been loads of tourists,you do know Philippines has over 7,000 islands,many which have very few visitors,so I would say Mindanao is probably one of the more popular islands to visit.
If you want visit mindanao south west part you need a local friend looking after you. To many bad thinks happen in the past. The travel warnings still in place. I think this is the meaning of Ken. I hope in the future it can be save as Davao.

Because Mindanao had a lot of areas that aren't exactly safe, even davao, driving to the mall they have checkpoints to make sure you don't have a bomb in your vehicle.
Drive from davao to bukidnon province and there are checkpoints along the way to again check your vehicle.
Multiple areas are no-go zones due to Muslim extremists etc.
So compared to the visayas and luzon in general, far fewer people are less likely to gamble. Which is a shame since a place like iligan (the city of waterfalls) would be a great tourist area.
Ken will be safe as long he not drive alone over the river. Is always good to have local friends in ph.
Probably Ken means least visited among the major islands. Compared to Luzon, Palawan and all Visayan islands (maybe except Samar and Leyte?), I'm confident to say Mindanao is the least visited.

As a Filipino, I am sincerely happy that you accepted the invitation without hesitation, despite the Western Countries painting Mindanao as a dangerous place. Contrary to that notion, the reality is quite different, as only specific areas in Mindanao pose concerns for foreign visitors due to the presence of rebel groups. However, rest assured that you will be safe in Mindanao as long as you adhere to certain protocols and follow the advice of the locals.

Hi Ken! Hope you can shorten your vlogs to 13-15mins. You have to remember that your subscribers also follow other vloggers. Don't put all your activity for the whole day in one vlog. Edit it so you will have many vlogs to show. I have unfollowed famous vloggers because after a long hibernation, they re-appear with almost an hour long of vlogs. Remember, it only takes about 12-13mins to catch the attention of your viewer, after that his mind wonders around...
I deliberately missed some of your videos that took so much time :-( Other vloggers have learned from it and gained more views after realizing that it's more beneficial for both vlogger and viewer if they cut down the vlogging time. i prefer province then busy city like Manila, my place is above Davao in a province is called Calinan. local town not to crowded and have nice places to hangout such nice waterfall in the area where you can swim. i have little house there and rent is like 90 euro is a joke compare too Netherlands is 550 euro for a house.
