    Vedder is my favorite for my Sig P225. Great build and love the single clip design.

    I have heavily modified my AlienGear Roswell holster for my P365X and its my daily driver. Because its injection molded its much smaller and more comfortable than my other kydex holsters.

    My favorite is Tenicor Velo 4, its basically the best and most comfy appendix holster for me. Don’t forget about the retention!🤘🏻

      I completely agree with the Velo 4. It took some getting used to the clips, but with the wedge I can easily summer carry the Sig p365 with the 15rd mag if wanted and it's hidden without oversized shirts.

    Tenicor velo 4 hands down is my favorite for my glock 19 and sig p365. I also have tier 1 concealed axis elite for my g19 but i always grab my velo 4. Its so concealable, comfortable, and the tc1 clips are phenomenal. I too just like a lot of people have a box full of holsters before I finally found the one that works for me

    I currently have 3 Tenicor Velo4 appendix holsters for my Sig P365X, my G26 and my G43X and they are by far my favorite! I have a new Shield Plus and I am seriously considering trying the new Tier 1 Xiphos Elite, but if I don’t like it I know I can and will get Tenicor Velo4 and be very happy with the choice! Great video as always!

    I don't have the certum, but I do have the phlster and the velo for the g48. The body contour on the velo is nice, but it did very little for me in regards to concealment. I like a two clip design, so oddly I would recommend the certum holster, as it's flat back would be easy to add a wedge to. Wedges are really body type dependent, and it's tough to produce a wedge holster that works for a lot of people. It is also not easy to integrate a wedge into a holster that is wide enough to not create a pressure point in the pelvic area.

    • @tommygun4059
      @tommygun4059  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great feedback! Ya, the integrated wedge doesn’t work for everyone. The Certum3 is definitely more adjustable and versatile.

    Slim Fit Holsters Guard Ultra with 2 Discreet Carry Concepts clips. Many many more gun and light options than Tenicor offers.

      @tommygun4059  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nice! I was actually looking at Slim Fit Holsters the other day. Have you used their Victoris (owb) holster? I’m curious how well it conceals under a hoodie or jacket?

    • @TheAxe4Ever
      @TheAxe4Ever ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@tommygun4059 I’d be lying if I told you I knew. I haven’t tried the Victoris. But I was looking at them when I ordered my Guard Ultra. Their belt loops flex, so as long as you have a good, sturdy gun belt, it really should hide well under a hoodie or jacket. Maybe not so much with just a regular shirt. I have a Vedder Rapid Tuck for my Canik Elite Combat. The belt loops don’t flex to form like the Victoris does and it is a bit thicker than the Victoris, but it still hides pretty well under a jacket. So I imagine the Victoris should do even better.

    I have the PHLster Pro Series holster I carry appendix. I have 2 of them. One for my Sig P365 and one for my P320. it truly makes my guns disappear on me and the aerodynamics of it makes the holster extremely comfortable carrying for long periods of times. I forget at times I actually carrying. I’m highly satisfied with the PHLster Pro. 9 out of 10

    I have both the Tenicor Certum (3) and the Velo (4).
    I started with the Velo. Used it maybe a month but it was never comfortable and I moved it around a lot to try to find the best position for it. It's integrated wedge has too much "peak".
    I then bought the Certum. I immediately liked it better. I love the 3 camming bars it comes with. I'm using the largest bar at the moment. It's also far more adjustable than the Velo, position-wise. Since there's no integrated wedge, it fits better but I've found that I do need a wedge (the tip of the holster is a hot spot), so I cut a crude wedge out of yoga block foam and stuck it to the back of the Certum with velcro.
    I'll probably end up selling the Velo. I might experiment with adding cushions to it to see if I can carry it.

      Thanks for sharing your experience! If you haven’t tried the wedges from Dark Star Gear, check them out. They are Teardrop shaped and come with Velcro that you attach to the holster, which makes adjusting your wedge so much quicker and easier 🤙

    Just got my first appendix holster pretty recently. I went fairly cheap with the Alien Gear Roswell holster. For the price, I think it's great. The included claw and wedge work very well. Even with pretty slim shirts, there's no obvious printing.
    My only real criticism is that I'm not a fan of the belt clip that comes on it. It's a little bulky, imo, and it's the only thing that actually does have a slight print. If anyone knows of a good, more normal belt clip for it, please let me know.

    • @tommygun4059
      @tommygun4059  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice! I would email Alien Gear and see if the Roswell is compatible with Discreet Carry Concepts ‘Monoblock’ clip. It’s much stronger and lower-profile than the FOMI clip that comes on the Roswell 🤙

    • @tommygun4059
      @tommygun4059  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nice! Yes, they are comparable and I really like the Xiphos V2.
      The Velo 4 is a little more minimalistic (smaller footprint) and it has an integrated wedge. You’ll have to buy a foam wedge for the Xiphos (if you like using wedges that is). My favorite wedges are the teardrop wedges from Dark Star Gear.
      They are both great holsters, imo. The Xiphos is a little more adjustable and I love the adjustable claw on the Xiphos. I think you’ll love it! Let me know how it turns out 🤙

    So I'm considering the Tenicor Velo4 or the G-code Eclipse. I wear a lot of gym shorts during the summer, and I'm really wondering how the Velo4 would do with this type of short. My buddy has a G-Code Eclipse, and he says it's great for gym shorts. You might not wear basketball or gym shorts, but do you think the clip on the Velo4 would be okay?

    • @tommygun4059
      @tommygun4059  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The DCC clips will definitely work on gym shorts. They will hold tight without a belt. You might want to checkout the Phlster Enigma Express, if you haven’t already. It’s a great beltless carry system that would work great with gym shorts.

      You’re awful angry over something I can’t control. It’s closer to 30 different models and a universal 1911/2011 option but yes, like I’ve said in other reviews that’s Tenicors biggest weakness (few gun options). Go with another company then and do your own reviews.

      Thanks for sharing your experience with the Velo4. Sorry, I’m not sure what would work best. The shape of the Velo’s wedge makes it tough.
