Just pick up a 50pd bag of the Lesco 007 at Lowe's last weekend for 10.98 regular price was 49.00. I left with a big smile on my face! I learn from you so when i go into one of the big box stores I always think to myself BYD said checkthis look for that and read the label! See I have been listening!🤣
BYD - you enlightened me to pre emergent…never did it till I found this channel and ever since then, I have hardly any issues come spring now. My yard used to look like a polka dot from my landscaper dye with me having to spot treat weed after weed. And I’m getting too old to be killing myself come April! Love it! My yard has never looked better!
Hey brother , I have a w couple questions hopefully you see this , I’m in Arizona , I’m heading perennial rye has a harder time fighting bermuda growth and the Bermuda struggled more with it then with annual is this true ? I’m trying to figure which is better to use for my lawn also is it a bad idea to over seed Bermuda with the rye would it lay dormant tell spring ? Is it a bad idea to overseed it in hopes once the rye dies off the dormant Bermuda will kick in ?
What if your Bermuda hasn’t had a full winter season to go dormant and grow in ? Should I still put this down ? A lot of people say wait a season but I don’t want to deal with these weeds next year lol
BYD - In Phoenix with Bermuda grass. I like to overseed with winter rye in the winter as i like to have a nice green lawn thru out the year. i have previously not put down a pre emergent and these last 2 summers i have a huge outbreak of crows feet. I want to prevent it for next summer but also want to overseed in the winter. Could i still put down the Lesco right now and overseed next month in October or will the rye not grow? Thank you.
Aerating my yard for fall! what's a good time ? I'm on the Southside of Atlanta . This is second season of my Bermuda grass .what do you recommend after core aerating???
BYD when you say not to apply to a new lawn/new sod in 12 months. You mean new seeds? I just got germination last week but dont know what to do with the weeds.
@@pidoka809 you’ll have to mow and bag, had pull some. You can even spot treat some after the 4th mow. Unfortunately adding pre emergent to new seeded lawn can stunt growth. It generally takes a year for the lawn to become fully established.

@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral Thanks for responding you are the best. If I spray the parts of my lawn that is not resodded how far away from the new sod should I stay?
I feel that marketing is getting out of control to get us to spend more money. Instead applying once or twice a year, they want us to apply 3 times now. Early Spring, Summer and Fall. How about make a product safer for the environment with just one application with protection of weeds year round. Its all about the Benjamins. Thanks for teaching us.
When you mentioned applications on Sept 15, Nov. 15 etc. you said fertilizer. I'm just checking, did you mean to say weed preventer instead of fertilizer?
@@JayPerrier I’ve never had a bag with rocks 🪨 in it. Those are carrier agent for the Pre Emergent. It will eventually break down over time. Could be weeks, could be months.

Over seeding here in New York with perineal rye. Tenacity is my go to for pre and post emergent
Thanks again sir! I fought weeds all summer but this video will help me for next summer.
Thanks BYD! No weeds alive in 2025 😂
I’ll be using that slogan Soon lol 😂
You guys are getting our Texas September.

BYD - for some reason upstate SC has been getting these crazy down pours coming off the mountains the last few weeks. Grass is green and thick!
