- Today we went to the Talize Thrift Store Grand Opening in North Bay, Ontario. We were one of the first 50 people in line and received a. 50% off card that could only be used today. I got some great deals and am very happy with my purchases. As a bonus I compare Talize to Value Village another "Thrift Store" in the same city. I put Thrift Store in quotes for Value Village because I cannot say I view Value Village as a thrift store with their pricing.

I love the deep red of the cup too...as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. That is the exact thing I was thinking too about the big purse and the blue wallet. Yes, apparently it is a chain store and they have them in major centers like Oshawa, Barrie, Toronto, and now North Bay! I was one of the first 50 and it meant lining up outside in the rain and cold but thankfully they had a heart and opened about ten minutes early to let us in. 😄

Thanks, funny thing at the cashier on the way out I was complimented on my good taste in purses. I love the jean jacket and well, everything. I may have spent $41.60 but I think of what that would have bought me in a retail store like even Walmart and it doesn't compare. 😀
