I completely understand Britt's feelings! My boyfriend is super picky when it comes to food, so every time I make him something I have anxiety that he is gunna hate it. It's a crappy feeling especially when you aren't a HUGE fan of cooking to begin with but go out of your way to provide a good meal.

I watch my husband intently to make sure he likes it and I have to ask him every time, even if I've made it before if it was good.. Bc lets be honest... Aww Britt... My hubby is the cook in our house, and he has THREE picky eaters to deal with in our house. We are texture eaters, and if there are too many texture differences, it doesn't matter how good the food is, we just can't handle it. I try very hard to deal with things because I know he goes through so much to feed us all, but sometimes, I'm sorry, I cannot handle what he cooks, and it is very frustrating for him, and it is frustrating for me too because then I feel like there isn't anything I can eat. It will be a battle in our house until we go see Jesus. lol Poor hubby! and Poor you having to deal with us picky eater club members! God bless you both!

Well I wasn't to happy about that because we ended up behind schedule. I started yelling at him then I remembered you listened to Hillsong on Pandora and it helped calm me and the situation. Hi everyone! Here are some dinner ideas if anyone need some. My mom usually makes these meals throughout the week : 1. spaghetti with meat sauce 2. Baked or pan seared talapia with rice 3. Shrimp or chicken Alfredo 4. Pot roast 5. Grilled or baked chicken legs with mashed potatoes or vegetables 6. Pork and beans with cut hot dogs in it (my fav) 7. Pre cooked Smoked sausage with baked beans and corn 8. Tuna sandwiches That's pretty much it. I mean, she cooks other things, but those are the main things she whips up throughout the week. Hope this helps someone! :)
I always feel sad when the kids don't eat my food. I swear I've felt like crying over it many times, and had to go take a shower so I can just get a minute and cry about it. Ahh, the things that upset us as moms.
Brittany I'd eat your cooking your meals look good! I had a friend who's mom couldn't cook for sh*t and she gave some meatloaf to a homeless guy who hung around their neighborhood and it was so bad he gave it back to her.
