- Beginning in June 24, 1981, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, began to appear daily to six young Croatian visionaries: Vicka Ivankovic-Mijatovic, Ivan Dragicevic, Mirjana Dragicevic-Soldo, Ivanka Ivankovic-Elez, Jakov Colo, with a message for the world of peace, love, conversion to God. Mary continues to appear each day for the last 30 years to continue her call of conversion.

I was there that year as an 18 year old I did not understand the place as I was there with a youth group and was too caught up in my insecurities, I visited in 2009 and as an adult felt an amazing feeling of familiarity but as an adult and saw it in a new light and saw the devotion of the people and the divine holiness of Mary and her son Jesus !

They were devout to God. In the 1930s they mounted a huge cross on the highest hill overlooking Međugorje as the sign of gratitude to God for having spared the place of a plague.

I stopped believing in Medjugjorje.Until the church says one way or the other.Its on the back burner for me.
Why is it up to the church if our lady chooses to appear here the church is not above God he is above the church trust the lord God before anyone else

The church has to be cautious and not rush things But we as individuals need to open our hearts and receive the fruits of Heaven through The Queen of Peace our heavenly Mother who wants to lead us to Jesus.
The Church in 2019 approved the official service in Medjugorje, the same thing that happened to Fatima before the apparitions were officially recognized.
