The Grape Eater mine would go to the corner of the cage and pee so the pee would go onto the floor and carpet

Yes, I have a pet rock! Her name is Rocksanne, She’s a silver breed. We Rock out to Music all the time! She’s very intelligent, she can do tricks! I taught her to sit and stay the other day, she was awesome! One time, she escaped and we were looking all over the place for her. My Whole World Was Rocked that day...10/10, She’s a good rocko. Would High-key recommend for people of all ages. Rocksanne is a good companion. Such Great pets. They Rock! ....Hehe I’ll see myself out...Hehwhheee

I’ve had a rat and I own cats. I personally prefer cats because if you give them attention then they can be extremely sweet. My rat was sweet also but her cage was so much work to deal with (I had a 3 tier cage).

Thank you this was a very informative video. My son turned 7 today and really wants a pet he likes cats and Guinea pigs. We were looking to get a kitten but after watching this we're gonna get two guinea pigs to start his pet owning journey. All the animals were sooo cute.

My little guinea pig was a very gentle and sweet girl, very cute, and usually not very loud. She would lick my hands and make this purring sound when I pet her, I was able to teach her a few tricks as well. Mine was not high maintenance but still lived a good long life.

i’ve been fighting with my mom for two weeks because i want a gecko so bad
I would recommend a leopard gecko if it’s your first time owning a gecko . I have two geckos called Houdini and Gary and they are pretty easy to look after, you need to spot clean them everyday , fill up their water and food , and you will need to clean their cage fully sometimes. They need a tank or aquarium to live in and a heat lamp ! I hope you can get your mom to get you a gecko

Hey, please don't get a ferret until you're older and can buy it and everything it needs yourself as their maintenance is very expensive. They require a friend of the same gender from birth, a BIG cage (half the room sometimes) and lots of stimulation. Also they don't tend to like being handled.

If your a kid I honestly would recommend a ferret. They need your full attention even though they sleep a lot, they need a very large cage and they have a pretty strong oder. Caring for a ferret is a lot harder and takes a lot more time than most pets, and you should get 2 ferrets Bc if you can’t give them your undivided attention they’ll probably get depressed.
I work at a pet store, and the number of parents who don't do any research on the pet their kid wants is downright depressing.
Any parent should know the basics in case they have to take over caring for the animal, and it's really frustrating to me when parents just want to buy the pet to make their kid happy and then get upset when they realize how much it will cost to properly care for them.
10 min on Google people... that's all it takes to get an idea of what you're getting yourself into

Loura Canisara my mom got me three Bettas because I have stomach problems so she felt bad so she took me to petco (without any research) I got two females and my brother got a male, I got a one gallon tank for both females and .5 gallon for the male about, a week later we separated the females as they were fighting, three months later I found out one fish had dropsy she got better but then we were pet sitting a cat and she died,I got more into pets as my birthday was coming up and I wanted mice I was doing allot of research not just for mice all animals I found out that the minimum for a betty is 2.5 gallons (some people say more) I started feeling really bad and I started saving up I now have both bettas in a 3.5 gallon tank with heaters

A lot of these are great but I don't know about rabbits for kids. They need a lot of space and while affectionate don't expressly love to be picked up or cuddled. I totally agree that supervised pets are amazing for kids though.
While I do agree on not having rabbits as a pet for kids, some do enjoy cuddles and like to be picked up. Watch a video by Lennonthebunny. Shes a famtastic youtuber and her bunny lennon(lenny) is just teh sweetest thing. They have an amazing bond. So really it all depends on how often you interact with your rabbit and your connstant growibng bond :) And if you get them as a baby and you pick them up everyday they will grow up being handled and will be comfortable (:

All of these animals are kind of hard to take care of. If you go into depth in how to take care of each pet, it will be very expensive and be difficult to take care of them. Also, every pet mentioned is a long time commitment ranging from a life span of 2- 10 years!!

I got my rabbit at a pet shelter. She was only 3 months old, and a mini one. I bought her for 25 dollars, and the shelter fixed her and microchipped her for free. It was the best pet shelter I've ever been to. But I'm pretty sure fixing is a requirement in all shelters.

Try getting to it’s level on the ground. Rabbits get intimidated by people/other animals taller then them. Try laying down on the ground and play on your device or read a book and then rabbit will come to you.

i love that you included rats in this video! ive always said that rats are better pets for kids than hamsters! they have generally the same care routine but rats are friendlier, smarter, and more fun to play with!

Guinea pigs are not pets for kids. They need lots of space and the cage stinks bad if u don't clean it. I have to clean my cage 3 times a day. And change out the fleece twice a week. They are very expensive .
They also are skittish. They can easily be dropped and can bite if u pick them up wrong. Some can be skittish and scratch u. Also u have to clip their nails. Guinea pigs have different personalities
+Relevant Simmer no one is born knowing how to care for an animal but almost anyone can learn. They have simple care requirements and make great pets for families. Compared to other animals they do not cost a lot. And they don't need to be cleaned every day.

I don't mean to hate but rabbits need a LOT of space and they don't like to be held. Rabbits also don't smell if you take care of them. I just got a baby and did my research. I don't mean to hate but rabbits and kids may not be the best depending on a kids maturity

Happy Tails. I am adult and married. I don't mean to be rude. But a lot of the time rabbits are abandoned or sold because they arnt what a kid wanted in a pet. Many rabbit info channels say kids and rabbits don't mix
