When Vander went berserk it wasn’t because Viktor died, that was only a small part of it, the real reason why he went berserk is because doctor reveck (singed) was able to inject the serum he made into Vander, causing him to go berserk.
@@oakensiren4423 Sorry, bud, but you're wrong. He 100% did make Vander go berserk. What he does later in future episodes is a completely different concoction. Singed said, very explicitly, that he was going to inject Vander with a serum that would undo Viktor's attempts at re-awakening his humanity. In other words, Singed told the audience, straight up, with no subtlety at all, "I'm going to make the beast as feral as possible." And then he does. On screen. He was literally in the process of doing that exact thing when Caitlin snuck up behind him and tried to choke him out. Once he was free again, he finished injecting Vander, at which point Vander went berserk. You have to be VERY unobservant not to get that.
@@kingofbudokai SPOILERS Again, the part where he uses the serum is in episode 8, same serum, same desired effect, all of Vander's humanity is shown burning away. I do get where you're coming from (singed standing there) and I thought the same until ep 8
I think you're right about Vander, Silco and Felicia. They are close friends, a "found family". There's nothing indicating anything else. (And you would expect at least some similarity between Vander and Silco if they were actual brothers, but they couldn't really look more different.)
I'm both excited and saddened for you who is the editor as well as the viewer. The writers for Riot games/league of legends do not shy away from death, just take heed for if and when they release more of such masterpieces as Arcane in the future... not that it'll stop us from bawling our eyes out in the end.
I've told people way before that, you know there's been like 3 different people doing unaliving attempts (due to depression and such) throughout the entire show, the first attempt was in season 1 episode 2, I knew this was gonna get painfully sad at latest since then
30:03 Oh don't worry.... They didn't mess things up just before they broke through to Vander. The show's creators waited until *_AFTER_* they broke through the Vander. That way we know exactly what was lost and it's 100x the heartbreak.... 😁😁 Damn. This show really be Ar-PAIN......
Ambessa overlooking Jinx's blue hair the first time makes more sense when you know that in the game, she's implied to be bisexual, has a preference for pretty men and *buff women.* She was totally checking out Sevika! 🤣
You didn't miss anything between Vander, Silco, and Felicia. They definitely come across as a found family and I assume they grew up together the same way as Vi, Powder, Claggor, and Mylo. And it isn't a stretch to imagine that Vander and Silco were both godfathers to Vi and Powder, so that they ended up taking after them is so very fitting. It explains moreso why Silco chose to adopt Powder in the wake of everything that happened in the first act of season 1. Also in terms of how the show makes us all feel, yeah, it's an emotionally devastating tragedy. But that's what good art does, it makes us feel deeply. And when we allow ourselves to feel this deeply, even about something that isn't real, we can learn something that IS real about ourselves. Rest in peace Isha, a light of hope that cannot be dimmed.
@SoulWolf2852 everyone was in a heightened emotional state in that scene. He was angry and ready to kill until he saw in her exactly what he felt towards Vander. I still think that wouldn't be enough to justify adoption by itself, but having previously been a godfather causes it make a lot of sense.
@@seanrilian I don't think he'd been a godfather like Vander. Rather "the other uncle" when their parents were still around. During the period where Vander had a fatherly role Silco wouldn't have met them but it explains a lot if they were familiar before that.
@@Todesnuss yeah. I think Silco got too obsessed about the idea of taking over Zaun at that time. Because if Silco was already somewhat of a godfather figure to both Violet and Powder, Violet wouldn't say that she doesn't know who took Vander in S1E3.
@@-quoreo-7196 could have also just been really hard to see from that small window, and it had been many years since the last time they would have even had a chance to have seen one another. Also Silco used to be much better looking than he was at the start of the show.
Isha's purpose was to heal Jinx and remind her that there was still good in her. Also get ready for emotional ride in act 3. Especially EP 7 is something remarkable.
Gina... I enjoy the energy you have in your reactions. Similar to mine so probably why. The show is an emotional Rollercoaster with extra steps. Episode 7 is probably the only release from all the pain this show deals out.
Regardless of how anyone feels about the em, the antagonists have some of the best lines in this entire show between Singed and Silco… just unbelievable writing to the point that I could really empathize with these characters for their motives.
And Honestly, missing out one or two things is the beauty of what makes watching favorite show over and over so enjoyable. Esp since you have to edit too.
This show is so good. I’ve never cried so much watching anything 😭 can’t wait for the act 3 reaction! One thing I saw someone point out about the hexgate mesh room: the first time Jayce, Ekko, and Heimerdinger were in there they showed just how cold that room is. Every time they talked you could see their breath in the air. And again in ep5, every time Jayce speaks and breathes you can see his breath. But when Salo talked..there’s nothing 🤔
I feel you. Isha's death was something. The hallmark of good storytelling imo is how much of it it's left in you after you finish it and for how long it messes you up. Arcane characters, story and narrative is brilliant, and the fact it lingers in you for so long and so intensely after you have finished it, it really speaks on how good it is. It's rare. Another story that broke me for a literal week was when I played The Last of Us.
Good, but not great storytelling. Unfortunately, anyone paying attention is going to understand what Isha's purpose is, and what her ultimate fate is going to be. This leads to her being more a plot device than a character which cheapens all those scenes considerably.
@@fredwin I hear you, but I think it's more a problem of time and budget constraints rather than the story itself. The entirety of season 2 is undercooked, the whole story would have benefited from another season or at least 1 more episode per arc. The writers themselves have expressed dissatisfaction for how they they were forced to tell the story. If we had more time with Isha that feeling of her being a "plot device" wouldn't have been this strong. Not perfect. Still great for me.
@@nokta7373 True, it's awful they had to split time between resolving things with the sister's and brothers all in one season. That was never going to be completely satisfactory. That being said, if they knew they were under considerable time restraints, why bloat the cast with a bunch of side characters that functionally add nothing? People complain about episode seven, but I know that was probably the episode they really wanted to do and must have been important to them. It does show remarkably poor restraint in storytelling though, and I think Isha and Jinx suffered the most from this.
A lot of people miss the small shot of Singed standing back up in the wreckage after being knocked out, implying he injected Warwick/Vander with the serum that would prevent Viktor from helping him. But I also believe Viktor's death impacted that as well, but mostly the serum.
Lol, that voice note at the end is exactly how I feel about the end of Red Dead Redemption 2. Arthur was just a digital outlaw but sometimes it still stings a little, and it's been 6 years
So, when I watched this season for the second time, I gave myself a challenge for each episode: Don't cry. I lost the game. This show uses magic to manipulate our emotions.
People going after you for missing stuff is wild to me. Not only do you tend to catch a fair amount, but when you do miss stuff, you often make it into a little joke in the edit, which is imo a really fun little way to acknowledge it before people need to comment about it and move on. But yea, I mean every reactor is going to miss stuff sometimes, especially in a show like Arcane with so much subtle writing and hints. I certainly missed a lot in my initial watch lol
Also as a sidenote, I love that you actually had no idea about the Vander thing. It was a strong theory that blew up after season 1 (partially based on League knowledge) so I think all the other reactors that I've seen get this far already knew about the theory going in, but since you only watched the show recently, you didn't have those years of being in the community to have it spoiled, and so get a more pure and genuine reaction :D
Vander is not Jayce faults, Singed (the doctor) apply the thing in Vander when the girls get out of the tend, you can see for a quick frame him stand inside.
First off, I am right there with you as far as defending Silco and Jinx to the death. Second, I have concluded that the sole reason this show exists is to hurt people.
Great video ❤️ This show tends to use siblings as one of the fastest ways to tug at everyone's heartstrings💔. Vi & Jinx + Mel & Kino are the prime examples. Also, I know you may hate him now, but believe me when I say that Jayce had really good reasons to kill Viktor. Plus if you wanna blame someone for Vander going berserk, blame Singed (the doctor).
ive been waiting! i think the dynamic between silco and vander is "brothers in arms" like comrades under a shared cause. they're not biological brothers! (i too was emotional throughout the entire 3 episodes lol, and emotional watching u watch them)
I adoreeeeeee Barad Dur it took me so long to get the money for that beauty as I am only 16 so yeah but the build was so satisfying and I love the figuresssss
Yes but also no, they found his body but also to be more specific he was still alive (possibly mostly due to the shimmer) since Singed hasn't learned how to bring someone back from the dead yet though I'm sure he was in critical condition
Talk to your therapist by all means, but nothing is wrong with you for feeling intense emotion for any of this. I cried like a fucking baby when Vander hugged Vi and Jinx. Not like sniffles and eyes welling up. Like tears, stuffed nose, snot running, balled. This show hits hard.

When Vander went berserk it wasn’t because Viktor died, that was only a small part of it, the real reason why he went berserk is because doctor reveck (singed) was able to inject the serum he made into Vander, causing him to go berserk.
SPOILERS
Nah, he didn't, he actually injects it later on and we do see the effects
@@kingofbudokai SPOILERS
Again, the part where he uses the serum is in episode 8, same serum, same desired effect, all of Vander's humanity is shown burning away. I do get where you're coming from (singed standing there) and I thought the same until ep 8
Never worry about not picking up on every detail omg I had to rewatch every episode at least once to get everything!! Its really fast paced sometimes
2:28 Ooooh, your face 😂😂😂 How did you keep yoir jaw from dropping at the sight of that
Even with glasses I’m blind sometimes. So in my head I told myself that her hand did not go where I thought it did 😂
"They're definitely going to kill something..." Was so rude bro....
What a freaking dope tattoo. "be kind"
Fun watch, can't wait for the last arc!
I think you're right about Vander, Silco and Felicia. They are close friends, a "found family". There's nothing indicating anything else. (And you would expect at least some similarity between Vander and Silco if they were actual brothers, but they couldn't really look more different.)
Zaun is not really conducive to nuclear families. Without found-families in Zaun, there wouldn't be many families at all.
36:05 this was actually a thing that Singed injected into Warwick. He probably would’ve survived otherwise.
Yah I saw that to, he could've been alright and have semi memorys or Victor's work on him would've came undone.
I'm both excited and saddened for you who is the editor as well as the viewer. The writers for Riot games/league of legends do not shy away from death, just take heed for if and when they release more of such masterpieces as Arcane in the future... not that it'll stop us from bawling our eyes out in the end.
Episode 6 is why I tell people "This show _will_ hurt you", and episode 7 is why I follow that with, "and you will _love_ every minute of it".
Damn. This show really be Ar-PAIN......
Ambessa overlooking Jinx's blue hair the first time makes more sense when you know that in the game, she's implied to be bisexual, has a preference for pretty men and *buff women.* She was totally checking out Sevika! 🤣
the reaction to isha at the end is soooo real. i love these reactions sm !!!
Oh the emotional connection to these characters is strongggg... I don't know any fans who watched and didn't cry, I know I did.
But silco was ready to kill Powder. Thats why he held up the knife. And I DOUBT Riot would fuck up continuity like that
@SoulWolf2852 everyone was in a heightened emotional state in that scene.
These 3 episodes was my crybaby episodes I havnt shed a tear for a tv show since the walking dead
"Every time I see them, I get emotional. Kinda pathetic...but I don't care"
Fuck yes, continue being badass and adorable!
Regardless of how anyone feels about the em, the antagonists have some of the best lines in this entire show between Singed and Silco… just unbelievable writing to the point that I could really empathize with these characters for their motives.
Quality content as always!
And Honestly, missing out one or two things is the beauty of what makes watching favorite show over and over so enjoyable. Esp since you have to edit too.
I'm an emotional guy who cries at tv shows.
I have never cried THIS MUCH at a tv show, and after episode 6 I literally had a headache from the crying.
21:15 when she realised no one was there to answer her own questionahahaha
This show is so good. I’ve never cried so much watching anything 😭 can’t wait for the act 3 reaction!
One thing I saw someone point out about the hexgate mesh room: the first time Jayce, Ekko, and Heimerdinger were in there they showed just how cold that room is. Every time they talked you could see their breath in the air. And again in ep5, every time Jayce speaks and breathes you can see his breath. But when Salo talked..there’s nothing 🤔
😬😞 My face when you said "I love Isha and Jinx, nothing bad better happen to them"
Been waiting for this!!! Personally act 2 was the best!
Isha became Powder
Hahaha, I knew this was going to hurt when I saw how much she liked Jinx and how she was getting attached to Isha in the first act.
A lot of people miss the small shot of Singed standing back up in the wreckage after being knocked out, implying he injected Warwick/Vander with the serum that would prevent Viktor from helping him. But I also believe Viktor's death impacted that as well, but mostly the serum.
38:45 That was such a Jinx facial expression!!!!❤❤❤
There's a scene in Episode 9 in Season 1 that Singed is looking at his watch while Vander is hanging on his lab
new upload = good day ❤
🤍
Lol, that voice note at the end is exactly how I feel about the end of Red Dead Redemption 2. Arthur was just a digital outlaw but sometimes it still stings a little, and it's been 6 years
So, when I watched this season for the second time, I gave myself a challenge for each episode: Don't cry.
I lost the game.
This show uses magic to manipulate our emotions.
When he said Poweder!!!! I died!
1:57 in season 1 they did flashbacks for the intros of the episodes, except for episode 9
I was bawling so hard my wife came in the room and was like “bro are you okay?”
Vander is not Jayce faults, Singed (the doctor) apply the thing in Vander when the girls get out of the tend, you can see for a quick frame him stand inside.
I will never get over isha
Silco styled little Jinx's bangs. Look at him in the bar.
Don’t do this to me
that ending to this video is arcane lol shit rips your soul out
Love this act
Arcane ended on episode 5
I love your reaction
I was one week feeling 😢 after finishing the act 2
I can’t wait for next week reaction
GINA UPLOADED. IM UP
LET’S PARTY
23:57 LMAOOOO the pain
I wasn't okay for a week. That hit hard!!
JAYCE HATE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED 🗣️🗣️🗣️
P.S. my poor baby Isha😭😭😭😭
32:35 did you blur the screen on purpose cause if yes, cinema is achieved
im suprised u didnt freak out when u saw maddie in caitlyn's bed
I’m also surprised I didn’t freak out about the little ginger snap slithering her way into Caitlyn’s bed
First off, I am right there with you as far as defending Silco and Jinx to the death. Second, I have concluded that the sole reason this show exists is to hurt people.
Great video ❤️
This show tends to use siblings as one of the fastest ways to tug at everyone's heartstrings💔.
(i too was emotional throughout the entire 3 episodes lol, and emotional watching u watch them)
29:55 We are familyyy 🎵🤓
I hate what they did, cheap emotional manipulation, crude. But i still cried, which upsets me.
I’m with ya on the Silco Jinx thing. 😉
But I have a 30x40 canvas of Jinx from the end of S1 in the ManCave. 🤷♂️
The ending is literally so real I sent so many voice notes to my friends just balling my eyes out after episode 7
Wait is there a Patreon where I can watch your full reactions?
It just had to happen Jayce had to get his child killing quota of the season this time he did it indirectly, but it’s still the same thing
I don't know how you managed to watch an episode 6 when the show clearly ended after the hug in episode 5. Gotta love a happy ending :)
I adoreeeeeee Barad Dur it took me so long to get the money for that beauty as I am only 16 so yeah but the build was so satisfying and I love the figuresssss
OMFG HIII SO SORRY FOR OUR LOST I LOVED ISHAA
They do have other projects coming so there's something to look forward to
12:19
Am I crazy, or does Isha yell "mama"?
I hear it too, not quite buried in the mix. Easier to catch with good headphones or earbuds.
Episode seven gonna be a movie
Everyone should find Isha in their lives.
13:29 maybe they found the burnt charred body in the aftermath?
Yes but also no, they found his body but also to be more specific he was still alive (possibly mostly due to the shimmer) since Singed hasn't learned how to bring someone back from the dead yet though I'm sure he was in critical condition
*Hugs* I had the exact same reaction
isha dying is when I cried too man :(( its so sadddddd
Talk to your therapist by all means, but nothing is wrong with you for feeling intense emotion for any of this. I cried like a fucking baby when Vander hugged Vi and Jinx. Not like sniffles and eyes welling up. Like tears, stuffed nose, snot running, balled. This show hits hard.
Summary: 🥺😭😭😡😭😭🥹😭😡😭😭😭
The purpose is always to hurt us
Team Jinx!! Cait does grow on me later, though. Minus the creepy scenes, I love Jinx and Silco idc!
Can someone explain to me, what Cait's and Vi's plan is? They get into the camp, Vi catches Ambessa in the net and then Vi just leaves and Ambessa is only minutes behind her. Why do that at all?
Probably to take vander and escape because they are there to take or kill him
Did not care for Isha. Same as Peter did not care for the godfather.
