To watch korra you need to put in the head that the show is different from Aang, korra is different from aang, in the skills, in the personality, the world itself is different. You should watch Korra not expecting the same from Aang. But I can say that korra is worth watching, it's very good, especially books 3 and 4 :D
I just found your channel last weekend and binged your Avatar reactions videos. I have to say that I prefer just the four of you guys. The others just ruin it by pointing details, and their is no more room in the frame. haha
15:48 Zuko's having a Lieutenant Dan moment. P.S. I wonder if there's such a thing as a non-sabre-toothed moose-lion in the Avatar world? Just a moose-lion?
love how everyone interprets these episodes differently, everyone has diff faves and everyone takes away different lessons. the gaang and zuko/iroh are always a treat to watch :) seeing aang struggle with earthbending was weirdly heart warming to see how he overcame his struggles
The thing about Iroh is even if you push him to the brink he still won't lose control. After everything he's been through, all his growth and soul searching throughout his life, all his wisdom, he is incapable of losing control of himself. What's worthy of respect is the fact that with all the power and control Iroh has, he actively chooses a life of pacifism. What's terrifying is that when pushed that far he's not only in full control, but he's so far out of everyone else's league that for a moment you forget that his default is a very relaxed tea loving old man as he rains Hellfire upon those that, in his words, "need to go down".
For those of you wanting to see more Avatar reactions: BlindWave, Feathered Cake Batter, Kickassreactions and juanisabeastreacts did the whole series. The last three have redirect videos to google drive, it's safe, I already saw most of them.
I've always wondered how a possibly strong willed Eartbender born Avatar would do training to become an Airbender. If they ever decide to do a show on Kyoshi, I would lose my shit in happiness!
They basically did with Korra. While she is a waterbender they said her personality is that of an earthbender, which is why she had a hard time learning airbending.
Not saying that it's not awesome for you to be watching this for the first time as adults, but growing up on this show was the best. I'm the second oldest of five with all close ages and was in 4th grade when episodes started airing. I can tell you from experience that being at these young ages did not hinder our comprehension of the show and think that's what I love about this show and makes it so good, that they decided not to dumb down the story and that children and adults equally can fully enjoy and appreciate this show.
Robert Bradburn Yeah , can't wait till next week , The Library is one of my favourites. Too bad they're only doing one episode this week. Freaky knowledge spirit will have to wait , lest you're a Patreon , but I'm not a big enough fan of the Normies to spend ten bucks for the rest of the season in one go. While cool , it isn't that many episodes till the finale anyways , and then I'd be left with a Patreon subscription to people I very rarely watch.
Guys I’ve been binging your reactions for the past month. Just, thanks. You’re all so cool. Whenever I watch a reaction, I think to myself, God I need friends like these. Then it makes me go out and socialize. Cheers from Milwaukee!
So last week at the end of your last Avatar video, you guys said that you were going to do a third reaction, which of course made me think that you were also going to upload it. So I stayed up late and waited, only to realize that it wasn't coming (even though you apparently pushed back a Vikings video to do it). And now this Wednesday, you say we're only going to get one reaction, the one that I thought was coming last week? (And still, no Vikings) I love all your content, and you're amazing people, it's just this schedule tho...
Hey there. I think the confusion is that last week in the video we meant we were going to record another episode. Usually we record in sessions of 2 but we pushed for a third that night because we were very into it. This wasn't meant to affect upload schedules which I know are a little rocky right now I apologize. Stabilizing soon...
Oh ok, that's understandable (and I guess that's the reason why I prefer your videos to others, because of how much attention and enthusiasm you guys put into each series). But really, thank you for the explanation, it's always reassuring to know that you care as much as we care about you.
You should take like a month break between ending this show and starting with Korra. You don't want to expect a Book 4 of Aang. Still love it just as much, it's just a different show. I can't speak for all people, but I think most people that hate on Korra either didn't watch it completely or didn't give it a chance, because of their expectations.
I know that i'm extremely way ahead of you guys as i'm watching Legend of Korra for the second time through, and i'm on Season 3. I finished Season 4 like over 18 months ago, and i'm watching it again. Anyway, you guys need to continue through with Legend of Korra. There is so much more to understand bending abilities and the origins are in Legend of Korra through flashbacks.
Ikr i just wish people wouldn't shove their opinions on other people. It's like i wanna watch a show then people tell me it sucks, now I'll watch it expecting it to suck. Let them decide that. And totally agree, it does answer some questions i had from ATLA so for that I'm glad i watched it.
I love your reactions to Avatar. Honestly, I will watch them all, probably twice. I don't know much about your other content, but as a new subscriber, this is the one thing I really value.
You cannot listen to other peoples opinions when it comes to the Legend of Korra. The people who love the show (*like me*) will praise it as much as Avatar the last airbender because they are *completely different shows in the same avatar universe*. They both have amazing stories and awesome characters. Unfortunately, the people who dislike the show will go on and on about how awful it is because it is not an exact copy of ATLA. The avatar fanbase is very passionate positively and negatively. If you go into watching the Lengend of Korra with "Neutral Jing" you will love the show :)
The people who think the show is poorly written, don't know anything about writing and storytelling. They'll try to act like the show has bad writing, just because they dislike it. Plus, every Korra hater loves Avatar. Not a coincidence.
I don't think Toph changed her teaching method but Aang realized he had to face it head on. Earthbending is facing your enemy head on, without tricks or avoidance. Airbending is the complete opposite. Aang always tries to avoid confrontation, tricking his enemies to be where he wants them to be--that's why it was so difficult for him to learn earthbending. When he faced the saber-tooth-moose-lion, he faced it head on instead of running away; then he stood up to Toph and took his staff back. It all fed into the "stubborness" he needed to earthbend.

123WhyOnlyMe321 "I GOT HIT HARD BY THAT BIG PENIS" - Zuko 2017
6:19 I love how youguys included momos reaction. 😆
“Pride is not the opposite of shame, but it’s source” Iroh is too damn wise
WHY'D THEY HAVE TO "TRY SOMETHING NEW" (Read the description) WHEN WE'RE SUPPOSED TO GET THE LIBRARY TODAY
Oh my god, I didn't even see that! I've been refreshing their uploads for TWO FREAKIN' HOURS NOW waiting for the next episode!
I was looking so forward to it, fuck
markallenwils yea this is dumb lol :)
Zuko: I'm only gonna break-break-buh-brreak-break ya heeeaart~ 😭
Bringing back some Early 10's Electropop memories. When I mentioned "Taio Cruz" name to so 19 year old, they completely forgot who thst guy was as well as the song. smh
I dont ever comment on youtube stuff but, I want to say that imo i prefer just four of you guys watching the series, if other people that have already seen and love the series want to join for the book 2 finale or some episodes sure thats fine, Its up to yall. But personally I think having just the fresh reactions of the four of you is the most entertaining. I like Chris and Navi, I can tell they love the series. But having the dynamic of the four of you guys works the best. Also, its like the perfect fit for the camera lmao, and I can catch facial reactions easier.
Azka Shahzad That question is for Patreon subs. Hell , they already finished book two on Patreon. Patreon gets the episodes as they're made , so those questions are always for them. They don't even read TH-cam comments for this show.
LET RANA TALK GODDAMMIT. (oh btw #OT4)
I second this.
BAHAHA THAT MOMENT WITH THE CANDY AT THE BEGINNING WAS SO DAMN CUTE!! Nahid was like fuck it then I'll take all of em! Lmao
y'all keep interrupting Rana way too much smh
IKR
I still can't get over how heartbreakingly badass Zuko was on that mountain during a storm.
"Go on! Strike me! *You never held back, before!* "
To watch korra you need to put in the head that the show is different from Aang, korra is different from aang, in the skills, in the personality, the world itself is different. You should watch Korra not expecting the same from Aang. But I can say that korra is worth watching, it's very good, especially books 3 and 4 :D
yeah I hope they do korra and honestly think they will enjoy it
Yes, LoK is Rogue One, not The Last Jedi.
Korra is good but I feel the side characters, to me, aren't as fleshed out or as memorable as the ATLA.
I've been rewatching Korra along with Blind Wave and I'm enjoying it much more than I used to.
same watching it with blindwave, and its been rerun on tv lately, i've become so much more appreciative of it all.
I just found your channel last weekend and binged your Avatar reactions videos. I have to say that I prefer just the four of you guys. The others just ruin it by pointing details, and their is no more room in the frame. haha
I love rewatching these all over again....HAPPY NEW YEAR
15:48 Zuko's having a Lieutenant Dan moment.
It's a real bummer that there's only one episode this week, I look forward to their reactions every week..
"I live in Little Italy in Chicago, so theres a lot of tacos and burritos"
Whoever edits these videos is a legend
Watched this when I was 8 understood everything
For those of you wanting to see more Avatar reactions: BlindWave, Feathered Cake Batter, Kickassreactions and juanisabeastreacts did the whole series. The last three have redirect videos to google drive, it's safe, I already saw most of them.
NAHID ! You will regret dissing water ending, I promise you.
The moment of Zuko screaming at the sky in rage is more powerful than any bolt of lightning could ever be.
4:38 Omg i juist noticed this was ba sing se and that tree is where iroh sang leaves from the vines
That close up on the stuffed Momo had me in tears 😂😂😂
just one episode this week? Normies, how could you do this to us???? You betrayed us!!!!
I laughed so hard when they bleeped our toph saying pushover!!
Rana = Aang confirmed
Srsly, her name's just one letter away from Aang's.
You guys have no idea how stoked I am for these 2 episodes, thank you for watching and for your commentary.
Fire bending is NOT based on hard agression. It's based on controlled breathing.
Guys I’ve been binging your reactions for the past month. Just, thanks. You’re all so cool. Whenever I watch a reaction, I think to myself, God I need friends like these.
Then it makes me go out and socialize.
Cheers from Milwaukee!
Game of thrones trailer is out
They may not be all together so are probably trying to make a video with all of their different reactions together
Why are you guys so amazing??!?!??! To find such genuine reactions to one of my favorite shows of all time!!
"C'mon strike me! You never held back before!" Jesus man, that's so powerful...
11:53 the best part!!!
"pride is not the opposite of shame, it's the source" one if the most profound lines in the whole show and it goes by unnoticed.
I've come to these reactions late but damn am I happy to have found it :)
The "WHAAT" mashup face effect was great! Lol
In the words of Aang...TELL ME WHERE THE NEXT EPISODE IS!!!!
MontyStickle98 READ the description , but until next week.
Jack ripper WHAT!?!? Oh no...hold me as I cry into your arms
Binging your reactions to the entire series is like basically binging the series again with commentary haha
😂😂that ending omg!! Lol :)
Shoutout to Iroh’s greatest feat of skill, drawing perfect circles.
only one upload. awww man
I love your reactions to Avatar.
+
The criticism of LoK goes far beyond it not being an exact copy of ATLA.
F4m1LyGuy10 exactly it's pretty cringy for one.
I don't care about it being like TLA. It just wasn't well written on it's own merit.
The people who think the show is poorly written, don't know anything about writing and storytelling. They'll try to act like the show has bad writing, just because they dislike it. Plus, every Korra hater loves Avatar. Not a coincidence.
I agree...is not only for children. so deep and powerful. Tks for the review guys!
If you guys are so interested in philosophy of the show, you should start meditating. It's hands-down the greatest thing I've ever done.
Man, I love the editing on your videos! It makes everything even more hilarious 😂
i really like you guys! but dammit! let Rana speak!!!
The bleeping of "pushover" was WILD
Isnt it two episodes a week? Did they change it to one?
Indeed they have.
