I loved your mathematical breakdown, because numbers don't lie. The only caveat I would give regarding Constitutional silver is that if the seller shows pics of nice coins, but send all slicks, you could be losing out.
You're forgetting one thing..... These are ALLOYS. Which means, you're not getting 100% gold. (Not even 99.99% gold). Same with silver. The silver may only be 90%. Soooooo ya....

This is all fine if you are only looking at spot for whatever spot isnat that time. You are better off setting limits like no more than 1500 for oz of gold or no more than 19 for oz of silver.
Spot is based on 9999 24k. You might not get spot back when trying to sell these types of coins to a Dealer.

Guido why does it show 10% bucks for you but when i look at it, it is only offering 1%? I am enrolled but i am confused as to why it does not show 10%
King David: Guido was only eligible for the 8% for this period's eBucks offers that expired today. If you show 1%, which is the normal, every day rebate, then either you did not "activate" the offer or the 8% rebate did not apply to that item. Also, what I've found, as in the last 10% offer, the 10% applied only if I used the app on my phone for qualified purchases. Otherwise, purchases on the computer were 8%. AND, I had to activate the rebates on both the computer and the phone for it to apply. So, the lesson I learned was: Read the fine print. After all, it's our hard earned money we're spending here to make important purchases for our future.

@@jjpac2011 while i appreciate the message and the help, I know all of this. I buy and sell consistently on ebay. I am subscribed to the ebay bucks and I do use them everytime its time to use them before they expire. I also searched it on my phone and computer. I was searching the exact same seller and item the moment he posted the video (which inthe video he says he posted it quickly in hopes of people still able to take advantage of the bucks and coin.) I asked him to see if he did something different from the obvious or usual stuff because it was not appearing for me. No point in purchase the coin because im not saving that 10%. So again ty for your help. Was just wondering if he did anything different.

@@kingdavid1811 Gotcha KD. I guess eBay can have their own glitches in the system. Thankfully, eBay has the eBucks offers often. Wish they raised the max cause I can max out well before the quarter ends. Like you, it's very difficult to make any precious metal purchases without the 10% discount. Good luck!

I'm not positive but isn't that spot price of gold you look at based on 24K( gold (pure gold)? That is probably something to consider when looking at the prices per gram comparison. Pretty sure there are other websites that have a price per gram and base it on whatever karat you enter.

I love ebay for buying gold ive never had an issue liberty coin is one of my most used dealers! I get alot of hate for this and i don’t understand why. Why would i wanna buy from apmex when i can get the same product from a trusted seller for cheaper!!

Goldprice is for 99.99% and coins are not that pure so the math makes no sense and you are overpaying actually if you are only looking for gold.
Purity doesn’t matter when you do the math using the actual gold weight (agw) that is the pure gold content of the coin regardless of the coins purity that is the gold weight. Definitely didn’t overpay. Do some more research it seems like you don’t understand how this math works. Google agw it should explain what I mean 👍
