I'd recommend using your straighteners (I think you said you had some?) to 'iron' creases.. I did it all the time when I was backpacking (and I still do it now if I'm feeling lazy!)

You need to try one of those Vietnamese hair washes at a salon there. You lay back on a bed and they wash and massage you for 30 minutes.
