In the Japanese version, he speaks with a dialect that would be similar to talking to a country bumpkin in the U.S.... he first meets Bulma who accidentally hits him with a.. motorbike or something, which he promptly destroys thinking it was some sort of animal. At some point she shoots him in the face with a gun. Vegeta's red hair was a communication error. At the time this episode was being made, there were no colored images of Vegeta, so the studio just went with a color. Since it was still super early in introducing the Saiyans, there was no idea that black hair was the dominant trait. Shortly after the episode came out, Toriyama released a colored image of Vegeta and the studios moved forward with the correct hair color. Oolong's quip about Bulma's panties is a reference to how he used a wish back in OG Dragonball to wish for panties. I can't remember if it was specifically Bulma's or just a pair. In the English version, they stated "most comfortable pair of underwear" without specifying.

DBZA is going to get better and better, and then eventually it's going to take off like a rocket. (that exact moment is episode 27) From that point on, it won't just be the funniest DBZ dub, it'll be the best DBZ adaptation period.

Just a heads up, don’t take a lot of the things in abridged as gospel. If they say something and you’re like “I don’t remember that making such little sense in the anime”, then they probably swapped some stuff around to make it funnier (like Goku forgetting to take the medicine)
The show gets 100 times better in the frieza saga and continues getting better till the end. The sayian saga is good, better than any other Abridged series, but it's lacking by dbza standards.
