- This is my top 10 scariest public television logos. This list has public television logos which if you dont know what they are they are stations connected with PBS. For a logo to be scary it has to have scary music, startle you or look cheesy. I hope you enjoy the video. Please like and suscribe.

Why were tv logos always so creepy? I remember being so uncomfortable about those graphics showing up on a black background with some synth music.

1:40 WTVS is my local PBS station and that logo is certainly the scariest one on the list.

You could have mentioned that for the net logos music was that eric siday, the same guy who composed the also creepy screen gems logo also composed this net logos music, but i guess you did not know anyway.

The KWSU logo that ranked number one on the list was pretty messed up. Like the way it ends omg. Like wth? What logo ends like that? I can not even

To me, although it is not public tv or educational tv, the one that scares me is THX and the deep note.
That was one of my nightmares as a kid. The only logo that scared me more than that logo as a child is paramount home video. I got used to it though because I think its awesome.

I was scared of THX in my childhood, but I faced my fear of it by watching THX logo videos on TH-cam. Now, I'm a Deep Note Legend.

I found a non-distorted version of N.E.T. from 1964.
I love all WGBH logos, even the 1971 version. my favorite variant of the 1971 version is the red one. Why? Because, red is my favorite color!

Actually, No.9 is named WTVS, not KTVS.
I got confused due to KWSU and KSPS being on the list so I said KTVS. Thanks noting it though I did not notice.

Why were kids screaming
If someone made a country-western or rock remix of the 1979 UNC-TV logo, that would make the logo sound better.

#10: To me, it's too simple.
#9: Actually not too bad for the first WTVS logo, but the music in the second one is pretty soothing.
#8: Absolutely funny to me.
#7: Reminds me of Hanna-Barbera logo that looked similar to this.
#6: Synth chimes, not the piano notes!
#5: 1st logo is cheesy and the 2nd is kind of a retro style.
#4: Viacom "V of Doom" logo's WGBH cousin.
#3: 1st is interesting and the 2nd is absolutely overrated. The second logo music's composer is Eric Siday who composed the music for Screen Gems' "S from Hell" logo.
#2: It may definitely be loud, but I don't think it deserves to be #2.

how does the 1977 WGBH logo not make it? Many say that it is the number 1 scariest ALL TIME logo!
It’s because it is sorta unsettling, but it has one of the best logo themes and I don’t get why people get scared of a flash.
