Later I became a superfan as of now being a young adult when he dropped the Kings Disease and Magic series. My interest in Nas really started was when he dropped Nasir in 2018 because I remember when dropped Life is Good in 2012 which is considered an underrated classic album that was really good. I was wondering where he was at years after Life Is Good but I was surprised he dropped Nasir in 2018 because at that time hip hop was becoming very mediocre with young rappers from my generation. Then he followed it with Lost Tapes 2 in 2019 to solidify he wasn't done by a longshot and then Kings Disease comes and its over from there. Now he was doing a bunch of features and touring between 2012 and 2018 which something that artists do and that I didn't know about because I was a kid/ teen that assumed artists you like are supposed to drop every year

Nas is the GOAT emcee, he solidified it with his recent work. Nas may have the most classic albums in the history of Hip Hop, and every album is worth a listen simply for the lyricism of it.

I always stood on the side of Nas never fell off. In '99 he dropped 3 hit singles in "Hate Me Now", "Nas is Like", and "You Owe Me". Hov was smart to use the narrative surrounded by the fan base at the time not feeling Nastradamus and him going 3 years between albums.
