The lyrics and music composition of this one is simply amazing and thought provoking! Specially the chorus. Hat's off to the lyricist & singer Astha and musician Niraj! Here is my interpretation: In the first round of chorus, it's "कसैलाई माया गर" first and then "आफूलाई माया गर" later. My interpretation to this is the wounded soul/person is still trying to distribute love to others, when the person needs to learn to love themselves first. It is later in the lyrics that the person/soul realizes the importance of self love ("मुटु संधैँ जवान रहे पनि, शरीर गलेको महसुस गर्छौ, हरेक बुढो भएको हड्डिलाई, सेतो फुलेको केशलाई, गल्तीहरु बोकेको भारी मनलाई") and only then does the person/soul starts putting oneself first. That is when the lyrics of the second round of chorus changes to "आफूलाई माया गर" first and then "कसैलाई माया गर". A slight change in the ordering, but effective. However self love is not easy until you learn to forgive yourself. That is when the final chorus changes a bit with the addition of the line "आफूलाई माफ गर". Notice the subtle change in lyrics. It is Maaf, not Maya! Here the musician is telling us the importance of learning how to forgive yourself first, love yourself second, and only then will you be able to distribute the love to others. Simply AMAZING! The music too compliments the buildup. The melody, somewhat starts in a somber and heavy manner (with piano and guitar only), and later after self realization of the importance of forgiving oneself, love oneself and healing, the melody becomes upbeat with the addition of drum beats. Don't know if my interpretation is correct, but the more I listen to it, the more subtle things I notice! Thank you Astha and Niraj!
