Can people stop with their mandatory “oh it’s gay” or “everyone is gay” in every single video with a gay character. That’s enough, we know gay exist and always have been there but people act like they just appeared out of the sudden. For me, I don’t even see the difference, gay or straight, it’s the same.

With the 2 in this clip and the kids that would make 6 different gay characters on the show at once. I expect and love that level of queerness from Hollyoaks but Emmerdale?! The boyfriend left and we haven’t seen Ethan (black guy) since. There are currently 6 queer character (Marshall, Arthur, Mary, Charity, Matty, Nicky). Knowing that it’s actually 6 who have different identity (gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans) it’s not insane and also can I remind you that there is 50 regular characters in Emmerdale so 6 out of 50 is fine. People need to stop thinking queer people are like 2 out of 10M people.

@@petermukasa3093 there are far more than 2 out of 1000. I don’t know if you specifically talked about gay people but for queer, it’s more 2 out of 10. That number might be incorrect and actually higher as you can’t do a census of queer people like you can for other demographic.
