Those who are getting pension as per Employment Provident Fund Scheme are begging with government for years together to revise their pension. The present pension which they are getting is less or equal to their last contribution to EPF scheme. I worked 29 years in a company And my monthly pension is 3120/- my last contribution to the EPF scheme was 3600/-. Provident fund authorities are seeking different methods to curtale the pension and central government is sitting as silent spectators though there are different court verdicts in favor of pensioners. Please remember that there is huge unclaimed fund with EPF authorities. Different state governments are giving welfare pension to general public more than this though they have not paid any contribution to any scheme.
