Back in the 80s, I did most of my private and instrument flying in Grumman cheetahs out of Houston Hobby . I grew to love Grumman aircraft. Took my commercial multi engine check ride in a cougar. Great vid!

Careful Bryan, you might have missed a spot on that spinner! The "Turner" method of making sure you clean both sides... works for cleaning wheels too.

Aviation humor tickles my funny bone, so thanks for this! Was the very real oil chocolate syrup? I would love to fly that plane some day, is there one with screen instrumentation? I find it easier to read the newer avionics. An example is the Cessna 172s with the screen avionics compared to the classic 172. Also, I'm glad you got to fly a Cirrus! I get the honor of flying the Cirrus SR22 for free every semester and it's a blast! Thanks for the video Bryan!

@@Wolficorntv Yep. I'm lucky to get about 120 MPH indicated, which is like what, 105 kts. I feel like it should be faster.
@@flywiththeguys yeah that's kinda slow...but I guess comparable to a 150hp 172. I guess your club got that to replace the Cardinal?
