- The Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo proudly presents “T-Pop History” or the history of the “Thai pop music culture” that has picked up its popularity in recent years.
With the talents of Thai artists and strengthening potentials of all the players in the Thai music industry, T-Pop is not only known in Thailand, but spreading its wings in the global music scene.
In this “T-Pop History” clip, we will take you through the evolution of T-Pop that shows how T-Pop is more than just music. We have also gathered Thai music icons and their popular works from the past to present that have shaped the Thai pop music culture today.
Our interviews are honoured by “Pa Ted” Yuthana Boonorm, a Thai music guru who has lived through and influenced the music evolution, “Stamp” Apiwat Uaethavornsuk, a leading Thai singer and song writer who owns a number of best songs of all time, and “Golf F.HERO”, one of the greatest rappers in Thailand and featuring many record-breaking songs with various global artists.
